In love with the brush pen
By Your Average Jane

Comments about Marvy Uchida LePen Technical Drawing Pens:
This is the first brush pen I own so I don't know how it goes for other brands but, I really like how it allows me to adjust line weight more easily in my inkings which gave the dynamics I was looking to achieve and really like how it covers more areas easily like an actual brush but with a decent consistency. The quality and darkness of the ink colored me impressed, so I may look forward to buying more of these in the future.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Would defiantly reccommed!

I use these to ink my pencil illustrations on my Bristol paper before I color them. The grip on them is nice and the pens came earlier than expected (which is always a plus).

Priced very competitively. The staedtler fineliner has a better barrel width and texture, nice long metal nib. But marvy is one of the only lines with a 0.03. The only other 0.03 that competes with this one is a model from deleter neopika; dn has a smaller barrel, which I like. But I think there's more ink in the marvy, which is also quite a nice price for the quality. Not as big a fan of the larger line widths compared to staedtler, artline and others, but still should try the brush tip to judge the whole line. If anyone is interested in trying a wide variety of nibs in an affordable line, this is a solid product for someone not sure about investing more money in fineliners. #sweepstakes
Gotta hand it to Blick!

I buy art supplies for my son at Blick. I've found Blick to have the best stuff for the best price. So easy to order and in no time, it's at my door. Love Blick!
Really nice comic inking pens!

These are really nice pens for the price, and are great for fine detail in comic work and possibly even in other art forms (I just don't do them). The brush pen is not great, I would recommend skipping this brand's brush pen and going for a refillable one from a different company. You can press down fairly hard with these pens without them giving in to the pressure, which is nice.
First time user.
Only used for a short time. So far they work well.
A new favorite!
Bought these because I have used Le Pens for years. They are great for invitations, etc. Had to try the drawing LePens, and so glad I did! Love how they feel in the hand. The ink color and quality is great too. I will be buying these again.

Best pens ive ever used.
These beat out my copic liners and microns by a long shot. They dry fast, and dont smudge once completely dried. I TRIED to smudge this pen with copic markers, just to test it, and the ink went nowhere. Im beyond blown away by these pens, and ill be buying more of them. Being cheaper than other brands, its a no brainer for me. Even if you are on the fence about them, the cheap price is worth the chance.
Just what I ordered

Very nice pens. I wish the tips had more of a sharp point to them.
Really Great Pen!
from San Diego
I bought these pens to do some small handwriting on wedding invitations and to achieve small and accurate deals in my personal drawings. I think it is a really great micropen. I've only used a few micropens before and the ink bled on most surfaces like bristol and grey paper. This one does not bleed on watercolor paper, that's for sure! I also like how it writes well over pencil and completely covers the pencil marks. My only issue with it is that if you use it for extended periods of time and you are kind of rough with the tip, more ink will come out than is wanted. I will just have to be more careful with them.
