It's really OPAQUE
Comments about Marvy Decofabric Paint Markers:
These work wonderful on darker colors. If you follow the instructions and apply several light coats you get consistent color that stays where it's supposed to. I've been decorating canvas totebags and they look wonderful. The only negative is that you go through a lot of markers. Which if you think about it a lot of paint is needed to cover dark. The only markers I've found that are truly opaque except for Elmer's paint markers which are nice too. I wish Dick Blick would sell them. If you follow the instructions you will have good results.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great for Old Camera Shutters!
By Vince Lupo
I use the black DecoFabric marker, but for a completely different purpose: I have a number of old cameras that have cloth shutters, and over the years they have developed pinholes, and would leave lovely white dots all over my film negatives (remember film???). This marker is the perfect solution for filling these pinholes, and the ink remains flexible and won't crack or otherwise deteriorate. I know, a strange application for this product, but for my purposes, it's perfect. Sure beats spending $150 to replace pinholed shutter curtains!

Do NOT Waste Your Money on These!
By Mari the Crafter
from Miami, Florida
These fabric markers are worthless on most craft fabrics. They are not bright and some are just plain unusable. I purchased the Metallic Set, and, only the white marker is somewhat legible. It is NOT good for darker fabrics of any kind, as they claim, and soak into the fabric. I've had to go over every marker in the set with the white marker and the tip of the white marker has almost become ruined due to its use on darker fabrics, which, ironially IS its intended use!!
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
