This environmentally friendly cleaner safely removes oil and acrylic paints, ink, and pastels from brushes and hands. It restores bristles even on hardened brushes, yet it's safe on art and craft materials.
SavvySoap is great for classroom cleanup after art projects. The earth-friendly, skin-safe formula contains corn and/or cottonseed oil, aloe, glycerin and lanolin. It's biodegradable, non-toxic, and it smells great!
SavvySoap can also be used as a laundry pre-spotter to remove grease from clothing. Photographers use it to remove the lingering smell of fixer and developer from their hands.

This product was on my supply list for school, so I have used it daily. As far as soap, it works way better than expected on hands and palette, I do recommend to use it with a sponge, or some form of scrub. My only complaint would be the physical bottle. It was difficult to squeeze and took a while to come out of the tube, especially with paint already on my hands.
My favorite brush soap
from Grand Haven, MI
I paint daily with oil and acrylic and this seems to get my brushes the cleanest (I've tried Jacks, the pink soap, the b&j soap etc). I don't mind it on my skin, it has no smelly fragrances which is most the important to me. I like that its white so I can really see when all the paint is removed. I don't recommend the one with "grit" for brushes! The pumice/sand would end up on my paintings. If the 128 oz had a pump I'd order that one.

I love this cleaner, and I wouldn't think of buying anything else! It has help me clean off dried-up oils and partially-dried acrylics out of priceless brushes. I am glad I found something that is eco-friendly, effective, and inexpensive.

Makes washing your hands after using oil based inks and paints a breeze. Very happy to have discovered this product.

Love this soap.

Smells good, is easy on my hands and does a good job of cleaning the brushes. You do need to rinse it out completely or it can leave some oil in the brush

Good for oils

A fellow classmate at Munson kept bringing in a little dish of this stuff and sharing it with the class. He said it was such a bargain he didn't mind everyone using his batch, and a little went a long way (about a dozen people cleaned multiple brushes without using up his little dish's worth). It worked so well I had to get some for myself!

I love this soap for cleaning my brushes. My husband uses it to clean his hands after working on the cars. An added bonus is it smells good. I couldn't find it here in town at any of the other art supply stores so I was grateful that I could find it at Dick Blick, and the price was much better than I would have paid if it was here in town so I bought two bottles.
