These clips hold two same-sized canvases apart.
Pros: The clips leave about an 1/8 inch between canvases, allowing them to dry without touching. Seem very secure once on. Also, good price.

Cons: The clips were hard to get on to the canvases. It was hard to open the clips without letting the canvases touch (but maybe this will get easier with use). If you paint thickly, you might get some paint on the other canvas, as the gap is only about an 1/8th inch. Also, these obviously can't be used with boards or different sized canvases.

Bottom Line:These were affordable, but plan on retouching paintings in the studio.

I use 4 clips at a time one for each edge, they make travel so easy, I never smear paint on my car when traveling. They also make it so I can store the canvases in a layered fashion in my suit case for easy travel when flying. I have paid more for these clips, Blick's price is very resonable.

These clips do not work at all and should be taken off the market. I have other brands of this type of clip that work very well, however these are completely useless. Weber, the manufacturer, should not have allowed them to come to market. They are so bad it seems like a case of product dumping. I imagine that Blick management does not know how terrible this product is or they wouldn't be offering it. The one positive review of these clips must be referring to another brand, which is also available from Blick.

This was a great idea that doesn't work. I have a womans' hand and not enough strength to open. It was a huge struggle, so disappointed.

I use these for my last days wet oil paintings to be able to pack in my luggage.
They are also a good way to get two wet canvases back on my French easel from a day painting out on location.Minimum touch up is needed where the clip touches the canvas.

I recommend these to my students.
They're as easy to use as an office clip.

My art instructor agreed that these clips are much too stiff. Even he had a hard time opening them up. I would not describe them as "total rip-off", but I definitely will not buy them again.

I already had a lot of difficulty using those to clip two dry canvases together so I cannot imagine myself using the clips when the canvases are wet.
