I chose this one based on the rave reviews but I don't think it was really the best choice. Yes, it is solid and good-looking, but I find that it's range of motion is rather limited compared to other manekins. The belly part is not a good design in terms of posing requirements... maybe it just needs to loosen up? The legs are also limited in their range of motion at the point of connection with the torso.
I do like the blue paint though as it helps discern shadows, proportions seem good and it is well-balanced on it's stand. It will do for my uses but I definitely prefer working with the other manekin I bought, Adam the Doodles Man, which I find to be more versatile and more creatively stimulating.

Compared to cheaper manikin's, it has a far more realistic touch. The abdomen is flexible, yes, though I've yet to put it to its full potential since I'm afraid to break it. Despite that fear, I've gotten plenty of great poses from him, though I wish he were a bit more flexible in the knees and elbows. It's great if you're not trying out for contortionist poses.

I bought this manikin because reviews said it's torso was moveable, which it is. I can get more realistic poses with this than the traditional ones. Also, what I really like is the dark, high gloss painted finish, you get really great contrasting highlights and darks.

This is the best manikin I've owned so far. It's very high quality, and the joints are tight but easy to maneuver. It is also possible to set the manikin in poses that most of the competitors simply wont allow because of their construction. The bendable trunk also allows for more accurate poses. I think this was an excellent buy.
