Rediscover the satisfaction of handcoloring photographs, using the time-honored Marshall system. To get you started, we're offering a variety of sets, mediums, and individual tubes of oil colors.

Marshall's Photo Oils are transparent oil colors that are intermixable, permanent, and highly concentrated. They come in ½" × 2" tubes.

Hobby Set — The contents of this set include fifteen ½" × 2" tubes, a 1 oz bottle of P.M. Solution, and a 1 oz bottle of Marlene (for removing and cleaning), as well as cotton balls and toothpicks.

Introductory Set — The contents of this set include five ½" × 2" (1.3 cm × 5 cm) tubes of photo oils, a 1 oz (30 ml) bottle of P.M. Solution (for thinning), and cotton balls and toothpicks for applying.

Learn To Color Set — Nine ½" × 2" tubes of color, and a 1 oz bottle of P.M. Solution, as well as cotton balls and toothpicks.

Portrait Set — This set includes ten ½" × 2" tubes of photo oils, six photo coloring pencils, one white plastic eraser, and "How to" instructions for coloring portraits.

Marlene Medium — Perfect for removing undesired color, Marlene evaporates quickly and is non-flammable. Unlike turpentine, it will not spread, shine when dry, or leave a ring.

Caution — Follow safety instructions carefully. Not suitable for use by children. Shipping restrictions apply to hazardous materials.

Marshall's oils are perfect for handcoloring my black and white silver gelatin photographs. They have long been the industry standard and as of late have been more difficult to find in individual tubes as opposed to complete oil sets. Dick Blick's has a great selection and filled my order without delay.
