I need my colored pencils razor sharp and this "el cheapo" sharpener absolutely does the job, which is hard to believe considering it is so inexpensive. It's also comfortable to hold and easy
to work. A few turns and the point is back. I've used lots of handhelds before but none can compare with this great little sharpener, especially not my fancy electric one. The points are also longer than I'm accustomed to, unlike another reviewer, so they're perfect for me. I'm buying a couple more just to be safe since so many products like this tend to disappear.

I have one small one for my eyeliner and the large one for my drawing pencils. I don't think there arent great things about it It works great and It's the best pencil sharpener I've ever purchased.

I've used so many different hand-held pencil sharpeners and never liked a single one...sharpening blades are dull, shavings fall out and make a mess, whatever. But this one is great. Perfect little hand-held sharpener and it creates a better point than my electric sharpener.

Good clean sharp points. My only knock is that the points are short. I like longer points. I don't know if this is really a valid criticism, but you can decide.
