Constructed of oiled, stain-resistant beechwood, Mabef’s artist studio easel features an adjustable working angle with a no-collapse system for stability. It holds canvases up to 45¼" high, up to a maximum weight of 33 lb. A front storage tray holds paints and other small items.

The easel measures 96" H × 21½" W × 20½" D. It weighs 23 lb. Simple assembly is required.

I am lucky to have a husband who is a handyman, as I would have had trouble figuring out how to assemble it. However, I think the easel is great and would recommend it. Solidly built - a quality easel.

Mabef to me means quality. Their products never failed me. I've tried Blick branded Easels, Richeson, and Julian French Easels. Mabef by far is the best quality craftsmanship.
Their lifetime warranty says that about their dedication to quality.

This easel doesn't come assembled. You'll have to do a little work yourself. But it's not that bad. It fits nicely in my small studio which is 4 meter x 4 meter. It fits all of my canvas size needs. Boards, Stretched Canvases, panels, etc. It has a key in the middle that would lift the canvas up and down with a security clip so that when used the canvas doesn't drop down with gravity, but goes down step by step.

I was pleased with it a lot that I got a second one.
