Welcome to dickblick
Artist and master paintmaker Art Graham put many decades of experience at other companies behind him and started his own company based on his own vision and his own values. What a magnificent addition to the professional artist's palette!
M. Graham Watercolors are manufactured in small batches with pure honey, gum arabic, glycerine, and the finest pigments available. Each color's formula is individually developed and crafted to bring out the unique character of the pigment.
Each color in this small watercolor line is intensely pigmented, and every color is based on a single pigment, excepting a few convenience mixtures of historic colors. Best of all, each transparent color has a counterpart in the M. Graham Gouache line, perfect for adding detail and areas of opaque color.
Colors made with honey do not dry up in the tube or on the palette, and they always dilute easily, often after months or years of disuse. Honey has been used extensively throughout the history of art as an ingredient in waterbased colors.
This set contains five 0.5 oz (15 ml) tubes of Artists' Watercolors, including Ultramarine Blue, Sap Green, Azo Yellow, Permanent Alizarin Crimson, and Burnt Sienna.
Embark on your own Blue Period with this special set containing 0.5 oz (15 ml) tubes of Cobalt Violet, Cobalt Blue, Cobalt Teal, Cobalt Green, and Cerulean Blue Deep.
This set contains five 0.5 oz (15 ml) tubes of Artists' Watercolors, including Quinacridone Red, Quinacridone Rose, Quinacridone Violet, Quinacridone Rust, and Nickel Quinacridone.

Have I really not reviewed M. Graham watercolors before?
from Sandpoint, Idaho
Comments about M. Graham Artists' Watercolors:
M. Graham watercolor paints are made with honey. The honey gives them a luminous quality that makes them quite spectacular and they won't turn into a hard rock in your palette. They firm up but still remain somewhat moist and are beautifully responsive to a wet brush. M. Graham makes stunningly gorgeous paints at a reasonable price and are especially ideal for painters who like to buy tubes and squeeze their paint into palettes. Check out M. Graham's Permanent Alizarin Crimson. It's an extremely beautiful, rich color and the absolute best of its kind. M. Graham also has a fantastic Transparent Red Oxide and Transparent Brown Oxide. These colors are among my favorites, but I highly recommend all of M. Graham's colors. I love all of the tubes I have and plan to order more.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Extraordinary Paints!! Wonderful Company!
By Love Cats
from Ashburn, VA
M. Graham watercolors are just wonderful...a true value for the money and are even made in this country. I have nearly all the colors now and they are so satisfying to paint with. Having honey in their content, they are very smooth to paint with and re-wet nearly instantly with little effort, which makes my sable brushes very happy! I think that they are a solid value, and most of them are single-pigment colors, which is the best type to buy. This gives clean and predictable mixes. I had a problem with the caps in two of my tubes, they broke off and paint went everywhere. I did contact the company andDiana of M. Graham immediately contacted me and resolved the problem, sending me some new caps and also so very kindly replacing the tubes that I lost so much paint out of. Such customer service these days is nearly extinct. I would highly recommend M. Graham paints to any level of watercolorist, from beginner to advanced to professional artist. You just can't go wrong with them!
Amazing Vibrant Colors

Vibrant strong colors, stay true when dry
Luscious, saturated color!
By Michele L Harvey

I use M. Graham watercolors continuously in the studio. No more problems with dried out paint, M. Graham colors stay moist or nearly so, due to their formulation. It would be tricky to use them as travel colors in a travel box, as they may drip unless kept horizontal. The formulation (with honey), doesn't cut the exceptional brilliancy of the color one iota. M. Graham colors are gorgeously saturated and consistent, with an excellent array to choose from, many are single ingredient and highly lightfast.I trust this company for the high quality, lightfast ratings, wide color choices (with alternatives), and price/value. Excellent highly saturated watercolors, especially for in-studio work.
Excellent pigments worth it

I'm not an experienced watercolor artist, as I've been using acrylic for most of my life, but these are pretty amazing. They boast super rich pigments with a sticky texture that doesn't dry and crumble on the palette (due to the honey used). Glad I chose M. Graham.

I have used M. Graham watercolors consistently for about five years, and have never been disappointed with their color, blending characteristics or performance. As for plein air, dried paint on your palette takes water easily, mixes as it should and retains moisture a good long time, they are simply the best!

Beginner in watercolors. Started with Grumbacher pan, which I liked very much. These are even better.

Creamy and Dreamy
from Brownsville, TX
I recently upgraded to professional watercolor paints and couldn't decide between what single brand to choose and went ahead and bought from different brands. These ended up sticking out as really vibrant and creamy. It feels really nice not having to put extra effort into getting color onto the brush even after leaving paint out for a few days. The cobalt teal has got me in love too.
Smooth like butter colors

You need to try it once to experience it. M Graham has vast range of colors, which can be selected from dickblick website. Great buy, go for it.
