Softer but not better than prisma

This blender gets a "really nice" in quality because of the nice sparkly, transparent paint on the casing and because the blender is soft. I got three after getting a prisma blender since i needed to use them with polychromos. I found that the prismacolor blender was actually better than these for polychromos even though it has a waxy consistency. Also since these are soft they tend to go down much faster.

As far as pencil blenders go none of them are really effective. Some people say they get better results with mineral spirits.

I have a new set of Faber Castell Polychromos and needed a blender. I didn't want the Derwent or Prisma blenders because I specifically went with Faber to stay away from wax bloom and the others blenders were wax.

Lyra's is oil based and it works wonderfully. It moves the pigment around and fills in all the valleys of the paper with out any wax bloom. It does what it's supposed to do.

I think this is the best pencil for blending CP with. Its much softer and creamer than the Prismacolor blender, which is also nice, but this one is better!
