Used for cutting opaque patterns in 3/16 inch foamboard for imitation stained glass window designs that are inexpensive and transportable. Picture medium is translucent and transparent colored PVC.

Excellent as a single-pass foamboard cutter.

Would like to see a leading point indicator so that cutter could be visually lined up in the direction of the cutting mark.

These tools are great for my hobby projects. I use them to cut foam to make RC airplanes and they make cutting and forming the foam a lot easier then using a regular hobby knife. Getting perfect 45 degree angles are a breeze now.

This foamboard cutter performs adequately but no better than my matboard cutter or even a utility knife with a heavy aluminum ruler. The unit is for light duty use only - the plastic housing is fairly fragile and seems that it could be easily broken.

I also bought the V-groove cutter which was factory defective. Logan Graphics did not stand behind the product. Per their instruction I sent the unit to them. Their response was customer nonservice. Nearly two months and ten emails later I have yet to receive a replacement unit.
