I keep coming back to these Ultra Round brushes by Loew Cornell when I need a synthetic brush that holds a lot of color and will keep its point. These are perfect for highly detailed work in watercolor, gouache and egg tempera. I also use these for fluid acrylics. These simply are the best synthetic rounds of its type. I couldn't be happier.

I love these brushes, first introduced to them at a Brenda Swenson workshop, I'm a big fan of them now and I'm expanding my collection of sizes. They point very well, and are tough enough for PleinAire trips to the field in my supply bag. I'd highly recommend these brushes.

The Lowe Cornell Ultra Round Brushes are fantastic! Be sure, though, to get the Ultra Round because these are shaped to hold lots of paint, and specifically to get into tight spots even with Size 8, which is my workhorse. Very reasonably priced and I get several when on sale.

I use this brush to paint acrylics. It holds a great point. Be aware that the point does break down with use. I am hard on a brush- mostly fine line detail approach- but when compared to the high cost of the "designer" brushes the cost and quality of the loew cornell ultraround can't be beat. Two of these last as long as one of the more expensive sables at half the cost.

I am currently working with watercolors, the LC7200 rounds so far have been great to use, hold a lot of paint, perfect tip. If anything I would like a slightly longer handle. Looking forward to painting again.

I put this brush to a lot of uses as in acrylic and even aqua duo oils, and it is just great. Keeps a sharp point with gouache and acrylics, has a long life with proper cleaning/maintenance.

These are the brushes I use for watercolor painting. I am just learning to paint. The brushes have become very hard to find and I hope Loew Cornell is not discontinuing them!

I have used many brands of brushes over the last 20 years, but these are the best! They hold a lot of water and have a very sharp point. So, you can get into tight spots. Also, you can't beat the price! Try it you will love them.
