This is my go-to bag of brushes for EVERYTHING.
Comments about Loew-Cornell Craft Brush Value Set:
I do art camps and paint nights, and these brushes are inexpensive have a good variety and last well with people who dont know how to treat brushes. Plus they are CHEAP to replace, so even if the brush only lasts through 4 uses, it isnt the end of the world. Realistically ( unless the new artist is super heavy handed) I can get 20 plus uses out of a brush.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

What a value for such a great array!

I stumbled on these by accident this year as I was ordering art supplies for my students. It allows me a way to give them an account of the kinds of brushes out there and gives them an opportunity to actually use them.We do have the occasional experience of the brush coming apart at the ferrule/handle. Expensive brushes do the same but these seem to do a bit faster for some students - though this also allows me the opportunity to stress the importance of proper brush care.

I refinish leather in cars that I own, have been doing it for 15 years, BMW, Porsche, most recently a mint 2006 Buick Lacrosse. I bought a da Vinci Filbert COSMOTOP-SPIN, Serie 5584, liked it so much I sent one to the owner of Color-Plus the supplier if leather restoration, she responded with a one word email FABULOS. Nobody touches my da Vinci, I have a gaggle of brushes but frankly I will use them as throw a way's. I can't remember the salespersons name, maybe you can pass a good word to him from my sales ticket.

They are a good kit for beginners.
Best Brushes for Acrylic!

I use the orange & blue color brushes for all my acrylic painting & they seriously do the best job! I don't even by the more pricey brushes anymore. My students also can't believe how great they paint for the money spent! The sponge brushes come in handy for texturizing backgrounds too.

these brushes were very good the first few times painting with them but on about the 5th use the hair started falling out as I was painting and caused a lot of problems
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Woodcrafting. Painting on wood glue, gesso, acryllic, and varnish. These brushes offer a good range of bristles for the complete project.
