I use this to paint glass for my mosaic projects. It is by far the best paint I have used on glass. It is more expensive than some other paints (not at Blick) but well worth the cost!

After using all the name brand enamel glass paints, I like Glossies best as they have the most professional looking finish, nice and 'glossy'! They also stay 'useable' for a long, long time.

easy to use, great color choices. One negative is that since I can not heat set, and this product said it was not nessessary, it is easy to scratch off the paint. I have found if I apply the Delta conditioner for glass, over the Liquitex once dry, it makes it un-scratchable.

It's a great product, but it's way too expensive! I use them in large format abstract paintings and can go through a 2 oz bottle in a blink. Would like them to be packaged and priced for economy. From that standpoint, I'm afraid I'd have to use the "total rip-off" description--and I would recommend it only with a caveat about how expensive it is. Liquitex has something special here and they are capitalizing on it by ramping up price. Oh well. "Capitalize" says it all--as in capitalism. It's a free country. If anyone out there knows of a comparable product is better priced, please post here. Thanks.

I used to use the Vitreal Porcelaine 150 for painting on porcelain, and it works well. However, it can be streaky and peels if you try to paint another coat before the first is bone dry. Liquitex Acrylic Glossies are much, much easier to work with, although they have the same requirement for painting a second coat. When baked, the paints are almost as hard as enamel, and as shiny and smooth as enamel in appearance. A nice sable or squirrel brush is a must, though; a synthetic brush (even golden Taklon) makes it almost impossible to paint smoothly. I've never noticed the slightest fumes when baking this paint.

I have a roof garden (15'x15'). I used the Liquitex to paint the plastic pails I buy cat litter in. I painted flowers, vines, etc. on the pails. They have now stood up to 3 thunderstorms, 97 degree heat and one "almost" tornado, the they still look great. The workers in the building that looks down on my garden have dropped by to ask "where I got the lovely containers." Needless to say, I told them, gave them the Dick Block and Liquitex web sites.

I've used it to paint wine glasses. I especially like the consistency of the paint over other brands I've tried. The color selection is good and the paint looks wonderful.

Extremly durable. Great for layering in colors. Have to make sure your base color is completely dry or it will pick off in flakes.
