Brushes nice to use but the coating on both the 1 inch and 2 inch brushes cracked deeply after first use/cleaning, making them effectively unusable. Brushes were used exactly as intended, with Liquitex brand varnish and cleaned gently with gentle dishsoap and water. Very surprising and disappointing. I will be returning these.

The brush bristles started "moving" in their ferule during the first use, and went out of it at first cleaning, I had that one replaced by the seller.
Another brush had the same problem later on at first use too, and it was too late to get a replacement by the seller.
I wrote to Liquitex and got no answer back.

I paint mostly in heavy body and soft body acrylics on canvas. I am currently using brushes from the large scale set and the detail set. Both are well made, extremely comfortable to use, and easy to clean up. They hold their edge (or point, depending on the style) as well as their shape and snap after multiple uses and cleanings.
As for the detail brushes, the long, shapely handles on the detail set make a great deal of difference compared to more traditionally shaped long handled brushes. The satiny lacquer finish on the handle is pleasant to the touch as well as durable protection for the wood underneath. The unique and ergonomic contours of the handle make it useful as a long handle brush for broader, looser strokes, as well as being comfortable to use for more detailed work up close, when held closer to the ferrule like a short handled brush.
As for the large scale set, the long handles paired with a broad brush is a genius idea. Longer handles, for me, mean looser and more expressive strokes. I use the flat and angle brushes to apply gesso, large patches of paint for backgrounds, and layers of translucent washes. These brushes are sturdy! The bristles are high quality and the finish on the handles is easy to hold.

I plan to add more sizes and styles of these brushes to my studio. Well done, Liquitex.

These brushes are made for modern artists. I have several, the Universal Flats have become my favorite tools. The short paddle brushes are kinda fun, and the Giant brush is something I have dreamt about but never saw the perfect make... here it is.

I got the brush as a promotional freebie by Liquitex, and I am really impressed with it. I use acrylics, and it paints well and holds its edge very, very well, even after my rough use. It's one of the best acrylic brushes I've used. I definitely will be buying more of them.

Feels like an extension of the hand; the bristles are firm and short enough for precision marks, soft enough for expressive passages. I wouldn't use this for thick gesso, but it's wonderful for acrylic, both opaque and thinned. The 1" looks like it'll be a good travel brush- with the short handle it's pocket-sized. I love this product, plan to buy more sizes and recommend it highly.

Bought two four-inch brushes for priming a canvas board with gesso. Both broke on first use. The glue didn't hold the bristles into the ferrule, and any crimping seemed non-existent.
