Comments about Liqui-Mark Colored Pencils:

I bought a 12-pack of these a few months ago because they were inexpensive and I wanted to compare the quality to that of the other brands in my growing assortment of pencil media. While light on the wallet, I found their use to be unfavorable compared to the rest of the colored pencils I have used. In my comparison, I made a chart of the primary and secondary colors, including spaces to demonstrate blendability. The leads are relatively hard. While this may lead to fewer breaks, I found that it takes more pressure to saturate the paper with color than the other brands in the chart. Finally, when testing the blendability, I discovered that they were exceedingly difficult to blend and layer without looking grainy. For this reason, I do not reccomend these pencils to those who make much use of blending techniques. Overall, they do what they were made to do for a price comparable to that of other pencils in its category.

I must say the colors are clean an vibrant,(If not sharpened correctly the lead can break; Tip: use an cup with warm water to melt the lead on the inside of the pencil then lay the pencil inside the freezer. it should fix lead breakage.)

I've had some fun with these amazing pencils, the build quality its smooth when hitting the paper. They are good for blending also (colors come together rather nicely).
