A white, neutral pH adhesive made of archival polyvinyl acetate (PVA), Lineco Neutral pH Adhesive is ideal for artistic creations such as collages and bookbinding, and for adhering mats and objects within a frame.
This adhesive has excellent "lay flat" properties and a good open time. It dries clear and fast, it won't become brittle with age, and it's remoistenable with water.
This adhesive is not recommended for attaching hinges to art.

just what I needed: glue that is Neutral pH, perfect for artworks, unlike other white glues and rubber cement which eat your artworks!

I use it for a variety of reasons, on different media...works great!

Lineco PVA is more effective for paper and book arts than any other product I've used before. It applies easily with a brush or at the tip of a toothpick, and dries quickly without bubbling the paper because of its density. When it dries, it is clear and remains flexible. It is also water based for easy clean up and can be diluted if wanted. It is now a welcome essential to the successful craftsmanship of my projects.

This adhesive has no equal. It bonds and adheres like nails or screws. I only discovered it by chance a few years ago when I was doing some book mending. I use it anywhere in the house where it's needed. I would recommend this product to everyone, to not waste their time using a cheaper substitute. This adhesive is worth every penny.

I will mostly be using it with gluing paper to card. It is for when one wants created items to last for many years as it is a permanent archival glue, and will not change over time.
We used it to glue down canvas to boards and it worked great!
Great collage glue
from New Hampshire
I'm a painter who uses mixed media collage most of the time. This glue was recommended to me many years ago and I have used it exclusively. Be careful with your application of it in this sense: any glue that seeps out will dry shiny. I prefer a matte surface and if you do too, then I would recommend thinning it just a little bit and keep a damp sponge handy when you are glueing so that you can carefully and quickly wipe up any excess using a different side of the sponge as you do this. I have found that it is much better to try and do it right the first time. Deep breathing helps!
Great choice for mounting paintings done on paper
By Happy Painter
from Dothan, AL
I use Lineco Neutral pH Adhesive to mount my egg tempera paintings done on paper onto panels. I chose Lineco Adhesive because of its archival qualities. The adhesive works great for my purpose. It is easy to spread and does not dry too quickly allowing me enough working time. There is no odor. It seems to have good lay-flat qualities pulling the paper down flat. It dries in a good amount of time with a strong hold. I also bought wheat paste at the same time to compare which would work best for my needs and was much happier with the Lineco Adhesive. The wheat paste was harder to work with, dried more quickly leaving me less working time, and it seemed to stay wet longer than the Lineco Adhesive. I also ended up with a few bubbles in the paper that I had to frantically try to press out before the paste dried. Even with the Lineco Adhesive, mounting larger paintings is can be tricky. My first attempt ended in a big mess causing me to have to scrape the painting off the panel. I don't think this was a fault of the adhesive, just my lack of experience at that time in how to mount a painting done on paper onto a panel. It is a testament to the glue that it took me all day to scrape all the paint, paper, and glue from a 36 x 36 inch panel. The painting was firmly adhered to the panel after only one day!
Bible repair... Costly to send off for professional repair.
By Ol' silver fox

This performed just as I was wanting. My Bible needed repair to the binding, etc. I was advised that to send it off for a professional repair was very expensive. I tested it for flexibility and bonding which proved to be very good. The fix to my Bible was very satisfactory. Unless you plan to use it on numerous applications a small bottle is sufficient.
