Add value to artwork with this attractive acid-free, buffered paper that won't harm artwork and won't puncture like everyday brown or black craft paper.
Lineco Frame Backing Paper is acid-free and buffered with 3% calcium carbonate to protect your artwork. Moderate porosity allows the frame package to breathe, and the standard weight 40 lb paper cuts cleanly and handles easily.

Comments about Lineco Frame Backing Paper:
Everything is very fine. Thank you. My only suggestion-- I ordered a paper that is called "gray" but found the color was a bit lighter than what I had expected-- perhaps the name of the color should be changed to reflect the lightness of the tint.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Excellent backing paper
from Hillsborough, NJ
This paper is much easier to work with compared to craft paper which is difficult to flatten when cut from a roll. This paper lays flat making it easy to use in backing a frame. Being acid free, it should last longer than craft paper. The roll I received showed some minor damage on the edges which would only be a problem if you need the entire 36 inch width. I would buy this paper again.

Miss marked quantity

Was surprised at the amount on the roll because quantity was miss marked in the catalog I'm set for a lifetime of framing.

Lineco Frame Backing Paper
from Prescott, AZ
I used this backing for framed canvas paintings. The product does not have the strength, tears easily and therefore unreliable. The 40 lb weight is too fragile, needs to be at least 80 lb and not made from wood fiber. The 3 rolls I bought were a waste of money.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

It's a great product
from Blairsville, PA
I love the backing and only wish it had a way to put it on a spool. It's very heavy to try and cut for a picture. I love the color with the grey/black frames. I don't know if it comes in the brown as well. I am very happy with the product.
A must product for sealing frames with glass
from eastern shore of maryland
Perfect for sealing the back of frames to keep out dust and bugs. The 36" high roll will handle large pastels and watercolors and gives a professional finish to the back of your frames. I do prefer the original blue color to the current very pale gray.
