Add value to artwork with this attractive acid-free, buffered paper that won't harm artwork and won't puncture like everyday brown or black craft paper.
Lineco Frame Backing Paper is acid-free and buffered with 3% calcium carbonate to protect your artwork. Moderate porosity allows the frame package to breathe, and the standard weight 40 lb paper cuts cleanly and handles easily.

Lineco Frame Backing Paper
from Prescott, AZ
Comments about Lineco Frame Backing Paper:
I used this backing for framed canvas paintings. The product does not have the strength, tears easily and therefore unreliable. The 40 lb weight is too fragile, needs to be at least 80 lb and not made from wood fiber. The 3 rolls I bought were a waste of money.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

It's a great product
from Blairsville, PA
I love the backing and only wish it had a way to put it on a spool. It's very heavy to try and cut for a picture. I love the color with the grey/black frames. I don't know if it comes in the brown as well. I am very happy with the product.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
A must product for sealing frames with glass
from eastern shore of maryland
Perfect for sealing the back of frames to keep out dust and bugs. The 36" high roll will handle large pastels and watercolors and gives a professional finish to the back of your frames. I do prefer the original blue color to the current very pale gray.
My preferred backing material - best quality.

Gives my framed prints a professional finish.

I recently started using the Lineco framing backing paper in place of Kraft brown paper. It looks more professional and doesn't buckle with temperature changes like the brown paper does. I only wish it wasn't so expensive.
from Aspen, CO
I like the quality of this backing paper but am not a fan of the color. I prefer black.
A great product
from Pittsburgh, PA
It's a nice heavyweight paper that helps to give support to your piece. With it being a slightly thicker mil, it cuts smooth and crisp. I'd still recommend it to a friend even though I think the paper should come in longer length rolls.
Worked as expected

I'm using this to back my canvases. Really makes them look more finished.

Good quality backing paper at a very good price.

I used this paper to protect the back of my oil paintings (cutting out corners to allow air circulation), and at a show someone commented that I must have paid for professional framing, which I did not. The paper has a nice weight to it but is very smooth and the color is perfect for a professional look. I'm very happy with it.
