Comments about Lineco Acid-Free Binder's Board:
I use the board to make art journals, and always get a good result. My only complaint might be that when measuring the board to make my cuts, the sheet is not always exactly square. But, it's not an issue as I just trim away what I don't need.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

All A Board

My only complaint is that the sheets are generally out of square so that there is always a waste of time and materials to true-up board before beginning work.

Octagonal Antiprism Box with Lid
Good and on time
from Camp Pendleton, CA
I bought this to make my first ever Coptic Book. It worked very well, the book came out beautifully and I think that is due to the quality of the materials. As always the material arrived quickly and shipping was reasonable. So because of my inexperience, I have no other material to compare this to, so I gave 4's. But I have to say it might have deserved 5's. It really did perform beautifully.
Good chipboard but needs to be available in different sizes
By Maddie P.

I got the board that has the .082 thickness which is the perfect thickness for making hardcover books. It's very smooth and clean--it has a bit of a gloss coating (very tiny bit) that prevents the glue from getting soaked up/drying too quickly. It doesn't warp as much as the other chipboard I used previously. It's fairly easy to cut but I don't like having to cut from such a large board. I would love it if this board was available in different sizes. I use 8 1/2 x 11 paper to make my textblocks so most of my books are about 5.5 x 8. But when I cut that size out of this board, I'm then left with an odd amount left. That being said, the board should be available in perhaps 11x17 dimensions (or a little bit more at 12x18). It would be even better if it was available in 9x12 dimensions. I just don't understand why it's 15x20.5. I just want to get as much as I can out of one sheet. Overall, it's a really great quality and my only issue is the size of the board.

Makes Excellent Mixed Media Journal Covers

I only use this book board for my one-of-a-kind art journals. It is sturdy and takes all forms of applications.
The thinnest is pretty thin, but still good.

I buy this because of the price; the thinnest is the cheapest on the site, so I buy it. But if it wasn't quality, I'd have stopped by now. It's good. And it doesn't take forever and a day to cut through, which is a bonus.

This Binder's Board is Superb!
By Crafty Tammi
from Rogers, AR
I have found that this binder's board is thick enough to make a sturdy book, and thin enough to cut without much difficulty, using a craft knife. I have used it to make dummy books for my children's stories, as well as journals to sell. It is one of my favorite products! Highly recommended!
