Lefranc & Bourgeois extra-fine vinyl-based paint dries evenly with intense coverage to a uniform, velvety matte, opaque finish.
Highly pigmented, Flashe may be diluted with water to create a range of results, from highly opaque to a transparent watercolor effect.
Use Flashe Vinyl Paint indoors or out on canvas, paper, or walls, with brushes, paint guns, or sponges. The supple film offers good adherence and resistance to weather — ideal for fresco and wall painting, faux finishes, theater decorations, and more.

Comments about Lefranc & Bourgeois Flashe Vinyl Paint:
I am looking for a painting product with a matt finish that is more permanent [water resistant] than gouache. At this point, Flashe paint doesn't seem to fit the bill.

I love the matte quality of this paint. There is nothing "plastic or vinyl" in the finish of this paint which makes it a winner for me. I do not love the "plastic" look of acrylics, and this does not have that. Very pricey material, however.
Beautiful safe product
I can't find this anywhere in Buffalo so I'mHappy to have Blick.

Like painting with creamy butter from the heavens above. Levels like nothing else, real even color. The only paint I want to use.
Love Flashe vinyl paints
from Arlington, VA
Oil paints take too long to dry and the chemical odor is strong. Acrylic paints have a slightly shiny plastic appearance and feel. These vinyl paints have a lovely matte finish and a high pigment density that makes them very versatile to work with. Fast drying and easy to clean up too.

Water based perfection
from Buffalo New York
It's a new mediumFor me but so far it's qualities are perfect- huge pigment coverage and versatile.
good quality paint
from Washington DC
this product was recommended by another artist, after they noticed I was using Golden brand fluorescents. This artist preferred them, but I have not yet seen a noticeable difference. It is certainly as good as Golden, and it may be slightly more pigmented, but again, not in an incredibly noticeable way to me.

I was looking for a paint that included very vivid fluorescent colors. This paint is very smooth and goes on matte.
