Welcome to dickblick
This versatile and revolutionary product allows any design, including original art to be transferred onto almost any surface, with amazing results.
Unlike heat set transfers, Lazertran is a waterslide transfer paper and the process is simple. Photocopy or use a laser printer to create color images on Lazertran paper, cut to size, soak in water, and easily slide the transparent decal from the paper backing. Decals can then be applied to wood, paper, stones, glass, metal, candles, walls, clay, and much more!
Lazertran Silk transfers images onto silk fabric with an iron rather than decal. The results are vibrant and the silk remains soft to the touch.
Each pack includes ten 8½" × 11" (22 cm × 28 cm) sheets. Detailed instructions included.

Good Value and Quality

I bought more Prismacolor pencils to fill in gaps in my collection. I mainly use them for adult coloring books and rubber stamped greeting cards. The pigment seems to be in the middle: notso hard that it breaks easily and not so soft that it can't hold a point. They lay down a nice layer of pigment, blend well, and burnish to a smooth, even color. Very happy with them.I would especially recommend them to beginning colorists because of the good value and wide variety of colors available.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I love Lazertran for ink jet. I use it all the time - primarily I print and transfer vinrage images onto stone tiles, but have used it for various other projects and am always highly satisfied. I have been buying and using it for several years and have never had any issues.

I like the way this transfer can be baked onto ceramics for a hard finish. I do find that the color can be a bit different on the transfer from the original. Something to consider. It is quite easy to use.
every thing I wanted it to be,very satisfied

I used this product to transfer old photos to glass ornaments for a family reunion. The product really complemented my purpose as they had an antique look. Easy to use.
Glad they have this!

Looked for this product online after reading about it in trade pubs, and found it it from the UK. Most retailers in the US are selling it way over the manufacturer price, but thankfully Blick was spot on with the price!
Best you can get, when they get it right.

I use this to transfer color images onto powder-coated aluminum boxes for guitar pedals. This is the only transfer paper I've tried that doesn't require a clear coat before transferring onto the box. It goes on smoothly and stays well before my final overcoat. The only issues I've had have been manufacturing or packaging issues, but Blick always has the good stuff, or gets clarification, such as when they packaged the regular inkjet paper as the linen paper, although the back remained the regular. When they can go more than a year or two without major upsets then I'd give them 5 stars. Blick also has the best price I've seen.

More difficult than expected
Perhaps it was just me, but getting the images printed was difficult because the ink would smudge. Then getting all of the residue off was difficult. I read that the ceramic should not go into the dishwasher, but I did it anyway (top rack) and it got rid of the ugly residue.
Fabulous product! East to use, great instructions.
