Welcome to dickblick
This versatile pen handles like a pencil, moving in all directions without snagging or digging into the drawing surface.
It's the most affordable professional-grade drawing pen on the market. Use to draw precise lines with an engraver's perfection, for a loose sketching style, or a finely detailed pointillist technique.
The set includes a RapidoSketch pen with stainless steel nib and refillable ink system, and one ¾ oz (22 ml) bottle of Rapidograph Ultrawdraw black ink in a rigid plastic case.

Love this pen!
from San Diego, CA
I carry this pen with my sketchbook because I like it's durability and its consistent line. It comes with it's own ink which is a plus. It is my primary sketch pen. I have used felt type pens that always break on me or the point goes right into the pen when I use pressure. I eliminate the problem by using the Rapido Sketch pen. I think the pen is different from the other Koh-i-nor pens because the sketch pen doesn't clog on me. I love this pen. If I lose it I immediately replace it.
Koh-I-Noor Rapido Sketch Pen
This pen was less expensive in the catalog than I would pay at the local art store with their 40% discount. My regret is it didn't come will the black washer to tighten and loosen the nib end for filling and cleaning.

I got this pen to try out techical pens without having to drop a huge sum of money. I use it for inking straight lines and sometimes to touch up work.It seems like a good pen to me, though a little scratchy if you're heavy handed. Otherwise it's very smooth. The ink flows good, and I've never experienced a clog with normal use over the past couple of months. It can be a little difficult to take apart for cleaning, the O ring in particular likes to be finicky. But I don't think it's a huge deal, my understanding that that's just part of what you get with technical pens.
Best .25mm Pen!
I have used many different technical pens over the years with the RAPIDOGRAPH being the most reliable for me. This time I noticed the RapidoSketch and decided to give it a try instead of ordering a .25mm RAPIDOGRAPH nib replacement. In the web photo the RapidoSketch looked as if the pen nib and body were both of metal- The pen body is in fact plastic like a RAPIDOGRAPH although slightly different structurally. The clear plastic body allows one to see the ink flow right up to the pen point. The RapidoSketch handles well with good weight and balance. One factor about this pen is I have found its ink to come down faster after filling. With a .25mm RAPIDOGRAPH it usually takes five to ten minutes to get the ink flowing- sometimes longer; with this RapidoSketch it took only three minutes to have the regular flow going. Thus far my only "dislike" is an aesthetic one - I wish that the pen was not brown! If it had a total clear pen cap and handle that would make it perfect!

I found it a little hard to believe that a rapido-sketch pen could write in any direction without skipping, but this one truly does not skip and I can write or draw in any direction. I have many, many radipograph pens but have never found one this smooth. I recommend it highly.

Even flowing pen that does not bleed! Great drawing and lettering pen. My only vice is that I wish they would make largernib points!

Love rapidographs, not their clogs
By Great Bear
from Eatonville, WA
I bought the .35 and .25 sizes for a project. I have used both felt tip pens and rapidographs over the years and prefer the smooth flow of ink from the rapidographs. The same problem still plague the pens though. At small sizes they easily clog and have to be cleared repeatedly and often. Also, I had to buy a replacement for the .25 as the piston simply fell out of the nib after just 2 hours of use. Good product overall, but know what you are buying.
They got it right

Kohinoor got it right with this pen. Smoother than the normal technical pens by Kohinoor in my experience. Doesn't dig into the paper and great ink flow. For the price, this pen is a steal.
Works Like Rapidograph
I've used Rapidograph pens in the past and I can't tell the difference between the 'sketch and the 'graph pens except that it's about a third of the price. It doesn't come with a point key like the Rapidograph, but a pair of needle-nose pliers should work.
