Jacquard worked with Susan Pickering Rothamel to create their Piñata Color line. These are highly saturated, acid-free, transparent colors. These alcohol-based paints are indelible, and moisture-resistant when dry.
Use them on most any clean surface including glass, plastic, metal foil, metal, leather, paper, vinyl, and more. Colors can be mixed or blended.
Piñata Colors are highly versatile and can be used for a variety of applications. They are great for rubber stamping, fine art, and scrap booking. Also use Piñata Colors for faux finishing techniques, graphic, and airbrush applications as well as wood and leather staining.
Piñata Claro Extender
Mixing this solution with Jacquard Piñata Colors slows drying time and increases transparency without diluting color strength. When dropped or brushed on top of dry Piñata colors, Claro Extender creates marble-like textures and dries to a slightly less shiny finish — just like real stone!
Piñata Clean-Up Solution
Formulated especially for use with Jacquard Piñata Colors, this solution contains moisturizers that keep brushes and sponges soft and pliable. First use regular rubbing alcohol to clean off most of the color, then follow with Clean-Up Solution for the final rinse.
Piñata Colors Exciter Pack
Created with artist Susan Pickering Rothamel, this collection of eight popular shades is a great introduction to Piñata Colors. Set includes 0.5 oz (15 ml) bottles of Baja Blue, Blanco Blanco, Calabaza Orange, Mantilla Black, Passion Purple, Rainforest Green, Senorita Magenta, and Sunbright Yellow. The Exciter Pack also includes a 0.5 oz (15 ml) bottle of Clean-Up Solution.

Love my ink!
By happy artist
Comments about Jacquard Piñata Colors Exciter Pack:
I love these inks! I had bought some at a local craft store, and I like these better. Not only are there more colors to choose from, these do not have the harsh chemical smell and their consistency is a little thicker, which makes them easier for me to use than the real runny alcohol inks.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Jacquard Pinata Colors are wonderfully vibrant colors

I've been using alcohol inks for a long time but never knew that Jacquard's Pinata Colors were in that category. I've been using other brands of alcohol ink and these are now my very favorite fluid alcohol inks. The colors are more vibrant than some of the other inks I've used and the names match the color of the ink. That may sound odd but I've had to open the bottle of other brands of ink to see whether they are green or blue because the names don't describe the color. Jacquard seems to use names for their products that make sense. Baja Blue, Rainforest Green and Passion Purple fully describe the color of ink in the bottle. I'm an Art Quilter and use Jacquard products almost exclusively because the colors are always consistent from one batch to the next. I need to have the paints, dyes and inks I use be the same color in every bottle I buy or I may have to discard what I've been working on for hours when I open a new bottle and the colors don't match! I'm so pleased to have found a new brand of alcohol ink that I can rely on to get the brilliant colors that I love.

Colors are nice but the bottles leaked from the sides every time I used them. Cheaper off brand bottles of ink do not leak.
I use this product in my glass art. Great application and wonderful color penetration. This product can be messy , so I do recommend having the cleaner for easy clean up.

Great product for glass
I just use this product for my glass art. Easy to work with, and great color penetration. I do recommend getting the cleaner, since it does make a mess when using a sponge application. With the cleaner, cleaning is so easy.

I was impressed with the variety of colors available and the price was better than anywhere else I could find. As a teacher I'm always on the look out for a bargain!

The colors are intense, as advertised. Just as I had hoped. If you are willing to experiment, you will get some interesting results!

Really cool stuff

I bought these with the idea of using them on a plexiglass painting that will be inset into a window. The painting is rather large and I will say don't be fooled by the tiny bottles, they go a long way. Just keep in mind they dry really fast. The colors are fabulous and mixing them is so much fun. I could get lost on those cosmos they create. So give them a try they are fun when you feel like experimenting with a cool product.

Extra saturated pigment!
I have only used 3 different brands of alcohol ink, the 2 big names being Jacquard (Pinata) and Ranger. They both have their plusses and minuses, depending on what medium you are using them for, but for painting on ceramic tiles Jacquard Pinata is the BEST. The pigments are super saturated and the colors deep and gorgeous.

I love these inks, but the colors in the pack are not the same as those in the description. The colors that were NOT in the pack were :Baja Blue, Mantilla Black, Passion Purple, Rainforest Green, Seniority Magenta. The colors that CAME INSTEAD were Sapphire Blue, Burro Brown, Lime Green, Chili Pepper, Sangria. However, please know that Dick Blick made it right so I now have the colors I want.
