Super-smooth Lumiere glides onto any surface when airbrushed or handpainted with a soft brush. Jacquard Lumiere can be screened, stamped, stenciled, marbled, or printed, producing one-of-a-kind creations on a variety of surfaces including wood, canvas, paper, and fabrics. It applies smoothly even on soft, uneven textures such as Styrofoam.
Lumiere colors show up opaque and bright, even on dark backgrounds, and their high pigmentation provides excellent coverage. Painted fabric becomes washable and dry cleanable when set with a hot iron or dryer, and remains flexible and soft.

I will buy this product again
I painted a wing back chair with these paints. They are awesome and the coverage was what I expected. Turned out gorgeous.
Expensive But Worth It!

Get the 2 oz jars, and all of them! You will use them again and again in mixed media, fabric painting, and adding just that special shimmer to your project. I am still finding new ways to create with Lumiere paints.
I use this with stencils, Gelli Art plate, and for card making.

Golden Fluid Acrylics
from Lexington, KY
I use the fluid acrylics in staining paper for collages, also on canvas and paper mixed with other gel mediums such as pumice gel. The fluid aspect of the paint mixes well with water and other mediums. I found nothing that isn't great about this product. It is the best for me.

Paint covers very well, compared to cheaper brands that take multiple coats to cover. Colors are very bright and truly metallic. Great product!

Not as opaque as I hoped for, but after a few coats it loks great.
These are great for those times where you don't feel like messing with pearlex pigments and just want a quick metallic base on something. They level out pretty nicely when brushing on by hand and are easy to work with for the most part as well. Some of the colors are a little more transparent than I'd like but it usually only takes about 2-3 coats to get them to where I want them. I don't like the super sparkle. It doesn't do much except leave big chunks of semi-pearlescent specks everywhere. And I do wish the hi-light blue had a little more "oomph" like the hi-light violet does. There are only a few reasons it would be useful to me as it is and I always end up with just choosing the violet instead because it just performs better. But anyway, overall these are definitely fun to work with. I have put them through an airbrush just fine as well. You just have to make sure you thin them well enough (I use airbrush medium to do so). The super sparkle though, forget it..that one's not going through.
This is my favorite acrylic by far. It goes on beautifully, the colors are true, and it covers like a dream! I have used it on everything from fabric to wood and wonderflex and it has never let me down. The price is a little higher than other acrylics, but it is well worth the extra change.
