Super-smooth Lumiere glides onto any surface when airbrushed or handpainted with a soft brush. Jacquard Lumiere can be screened, stamped, stenciled, marbled, or printed, producing one-of-a-kind creations on a variety of surfaces including wood, leather, canvas, paper, and fabrics. It applies smoothly even on soft, uneven textures such as Styrofoam.
Lumiere colors show up opaque and bright, even on dark backgrounds, and their high pigmentation provides excellent coverage. Painted fabric becomes washable and dry cleanable when set with a hot iron or dryer, and remains flexible and soft.

This product is a good paint. I love the quality. It arriv3d frozen, from the cold outside. I let it thaw and used it. It seems fine.
Merchant response: Thank you for your feedback! Acrylic can usually withstand at least five freeze/thaw cycles without loss of quality. If you ever find that the paint seems to have been harmed by freezing, just give us a call and we'll take care of it right away!

I used red, white and green paint to decorate a pair of high heeled shoes for a family reunion with an Italian theme. The shoes are auctioned off every year at our family reunion as a fund raiser for the next reunion. Whoever wins the shoes redecorates the them for the next reunion. Lumiere paints had good coverage and worked very well on leather.
Best metallic coverage
from Brattleboro, vermont
Unlike craft paimts these metallics are extremely durable and exhibit very good coverage, taking usually one or two coats at most (over gesso) to provide great coverage and a strong enamel-like finish.

Great Paint for Shadowboxes & Frames
By Wayne Papilio
from South FLA
I use this paint for shadowboxes & frames that display insects. The Metallic Gold gives me a lot of coverage & 2 coats are enough. I also use the Super Sparkle & Pearlescent Magenta. Super Sparkle dries very smooth for an iridescent paint. It's reflective light, however, seems to be no better than others. Pearlescent Magenta is the most intense, fabulous magenta I've ever seen. It is without peer if you need iridescent magenta. I tried Citrine, it is So-So; not too bright. The Pearlescent White is good too, but not superior to other iridescent paints. Overall, this is a great LIGHT body paint, especially if you need a lot of coverage.
Smooth and Lush
This paint slides on. I especially like the crimson and the gold. The red is very lush and I gave a bottle to a friend who raved about it. Like some of the other reviewers, it made me start thinking of how many ways I can use it. I haven't tried applying it to fabric but will definitely try it based on what I've read here.

Great paint...covers well.
Love this paint.

Going to be painting acorns and pinecones with the grandkids. This paint can be thinned out by adding a little water and it washes off the kids easily with soap and water. I can paint on fabric, let it dry, heat set, and wash without any problem.
