The Eclipse Series has established a new benchmark for excellence in an all-purpose airbrush. These multi-purpose, high-paint-flow, high-detail airbrushes cover a wide range of uses. Eclipse Ready-to-Go Set — Iwata’s most popular model is now available in a complete, compact kit that includes everything you need to get started airbrushing, including the air source.

Packaged in a sturdy carrying case with handle, and available only from Blick, the Eclipse Ready-to-Go Set includes the Eclipse HP-BCS bottom-feed airbrush. Equipped with a wider .5 mm tip, it sprays from a hairline width to a 2" width, making it ideal for T-shirt applications. This multi-purpose, high-paint-flow, high-detail airbrush addresses a wide range of uses. Commonly used to spray pre-mixed or heavier paints, it is well-suited for projects that demand a precise control of spray when applying moderate to large amounts of paint to a variety of surfaces.

Eclipse Bottle Feed Airbrush Kit — Includes an HP-BCS bottle feed airbrush, 1 oz cleaner, 1 oz Com Art paint, 10 ft braided air hose, and a 2 oz jar with adaptor.

HP-BCS Airbrush — This bottom-feed airbrush features a 0.5 mm needle and nozzle combination.

HP-BS Airbrush — The HP-BS gravity-feed airbrush features a 0.35 mm needle and nozzle combination and a convenient 1/16 oz cup. The improved funnel design of the cup makes for easy cleanup and more efficient paint flow, making it ideal for nail and beauty applications.

HP-CS Airbrush — This gravity-feed airbrush features a unique 0.35 mm needle and nozzle combination for fine-detail spraying, but with high paint-flow capacity. A generous 1/3 oz size cup is designed with a new funnel shape, which makes for easy cleanup and more efficient paint flow. Automotive artists, fine artists, and students will appreciate how well the HP-CS sprays heavier acrylics and textile colors, while maintaining high-detail spray characteristics.

HP-SBS Airbrush — This side-feed airbrush features a 0.35 mm needle and nozzle combination with a standard 1/8 oz side cup. It’s ideal for custom automotive graphics and murals, as well as for fine arts work that requires custom color-mixing and thicker paints.

HP-SBS Auto-Graphics Airbrush — The Auto-Graphics version of the HP-SBS features a 0.35 mm needle and nozzle combination, with a large ½ oz gravity-feed cup and a 1 oz siphon-feed bottle. It’s ideal for custom automotive graphics, murals, and fine arts work that requires custom color-mixing and thicker paints.

G6 Airbrush Kit — The kit includes the Iwata Eclipse G6 Pistol-Grip Airbrush equipped with a 0.6 mm stainless steel nozzle, a dual purpose air cap/fan adjustment valve for spraying round or oval patterns, plus a special airbrush bottle fitting that allows for quick color changes without cleanup.

I decided I wanted to try airbrushing so I took a one week getaway course. We used the Eclipse CS To both learn the basics and practice our classes.
I had done some T-shirt airbrush with a single action gun, so it took a few minutes to get used to the double action. Once I did and practiced my strokes it was a dream.
I now own a ECLIPSE CS & a BCS. The BCS is used for back ground work and the CS is my all around gun.I still do some T-shirts and custom paint on other items including cycles and hot rods.
Thinking about an upgrade to the KUSTOM.
Great produces!!!

I use the iwata eclipse to airbrush t-shirts, it is by far the best airbrush to use for this application. It holds up well and it is easy to achieve fine detail with this airbrush, the only negative aspect of using the iwata is the cost to replace the tips and needles, but I have not found a better quality airbrush to use for airbrushing t-shirts.

I bought the HP-BCS Eclipse Ready-To-Go Set. The air canister froze (literraly) after I used it for a few minutes, so don't get this because the air source is phony and you still have to buy an air compressor... even at the start.

The stencil set is a toy... that you can make yourself. It comes with some tape that I don't know what to use for. And I think the paper is for making custom stencils.

This set, if you are going to get it, will get you familiarized with how an airbrush works. After that, you will quickly outgrow it, leaving you wanting for more.

As far as the airbrush goes, what it really is, is for people who are only going to do high-volume uses; i.e stencils such as for t-shirts, or painting airplane models, varnishing, etc. For any other use that is more demanding than that, i.e. making details, you need a gravity-fed airbrush with a trigger lock.

Quick one on trigger lock, and for complete newbies like me a few days ago, who are going to do detailed work - this is an absolute must because it prevents wild overspray, thus making detailing 100x easier; literally.

Other cons: bottle changing drips paint so it is messier than gravity feed, and gravity feed is so much easier on you compressor and you save electricity. I've tried to check as many variables as I can, and the only advantage I see in bottom siphon feeding is that it doesn't block your view and it can hold a ton of paint... that's it.

Bottomline - this is a very basic airbrush with an Iwata brand name.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I first started out airbrushing with an iwata neo,great starter gun for the money. As my skills progressed i wanted to up grade so i bought the eclispe. The first thing i noticed was i had to reduce my air pressure to spray the same paint as my other gun, hmmmm why was this? When i got done spraying my primer and time to clean the gun i could not believe how fast it was to clean and i was using less air. The flute on this gun is so smooth the air and paint flow thru it with a lot less resistance than my other gun. I went from minutes to clean to seconds!Fine line spray is awsome

I use this product for t-shirt art and it works good. It has very precise spraying or a pretty broad pattern. Although i mainly use it for airbrushing t-shirts i have done some work with it on different types of canvas and yet, still a great airbrush. Excellent buy if you are a beginner. Or your looking to do t-shirts for sale or just for yourself and family. Its great all around.
