Iwata Com-Art Airbrush Colors offer tremendous versatility, superior atomization, and breathtaking results — and now the line features a selection of new brighter, truer colors.
The new colors join the existing Com-Art palette, which is a favorite of many fine airbrush artists. Non-toxic and ready-to-use, Com-Art paints are specially formulated for use with an airbrush and never need to be filtered or strained. They spray smoothly and resist clogging.
Professional artists choose Com-Art Colors because of their museum-quality lightfastness. The non-fading airbrush paints are heavily pigmented with the finest ground pigments. They dry instantly to a matte finish, which is especially good for precise color matching, and the opaque and transparent colors intermix without any color bleeding or show-through problems.
Iwata Com-Art Airbrush Colors are an excellent choice for illustrators and fine artists. They're also great for model painting and hobby applications — and with the right primer, you can even use the paints on metal.

Op. Aureolian Yellow was bad
By Mike O.
from Twin Cities, MN
Comments about Iwata Com-Art Airbrush Colors:
Received my Opaque Aureolian Yellow in 4oz bottle. The color was NO WHERE near what it's suppose to be. As if I had been sitting on the shelf in a warehouse for years. I even shook up the bottom and the color was still WAY off. I called customer service and they refunded my money and told me to dispose of it. Very dispointed. I had a similar issue with Cobalt Blue
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Blick always seems to have everything that I need and then has the best prices, too. Blick's prices are the SALE prices of other suppliers! I don't need to follow sale fliers and collect coupons to get the best deal! Thank you!

Little known gem of a hybrid type paint.
By water media artist
from ventura county
This product performs beautifully in an airbrush with a paint brush or in combination with watercolor. This paint uses a special binder which is reworkable, very much like watercolor but with a bit more strength. A great product for water media artists.

excellent hobby paint
from Lafayette, IN
I have used Floquil for weathering effects on model railroad freight cars until they were discontinued. The Iwata colors are superior in all respects. The closable caps are an especially nice feature as well as the ball inside which helps stir up the paint.
Why not use the Best you can get!
By Ghost Gobbler
from UpState, New York
Of all the Air Brush paint I have tried, Iwata makes the best. It covers better and is easier to work with. No guessing and no problems. I'm surprised the bottles don't have "little super capes" on. Worry about your skill and technique, not your paint.

Only paints I use for airbrushing models
from Medaryville, IN
I use Com-Art airbrush paints in my 3D painting of model horses. It allows me to have control over my shadings like no other paint, altho it takes a bit longer to achieve my desired color. But the extra time it takes also lessens my room for color error. Layer by layer, I get to perfect my results without any repaints. I've tried lots of other brands, but this one is the last brand I will ever always use. It's the perfect mate to my Iwata airbrush. Don't change anything!
