I am illustrating a children's book and this portfolio holds my thumbnails and all my sketches for a 32-page book. As I go through revisions I can remove old sketches and replace them with updates. This is a perfect working model for the book. When I am satisfied with the sketches, I can scan them and create a bound book dummy for submission. The Itoya Profolio provided a sturdy, amendable, affordable working model in the hard-to-find landscape format I needed.

After taking a drawing class, I had several "nice" 18x24 pencil, charcoal or conte crayon drawings that I had sprayed with fixative. But, I thought the paper needed to protected from crumpling or tearing as well as smudging. The Itoya portfolio is just perfect. The pockets are sturdy and allow a complete view of the drawing. The binder is well-made and makes the drawings look more professional.

I used it for my portfolio.. The good thing about it is the materials used to produce it. The plastic foliage provides a clear view of the photos! The cover is nice,too.

I just recieved the presentation cases, and now I can arrange my paper drawing and paintings in a way that is both protecting them and easy to present and go through.

What I loved is that they had all the sizes that I need for my art. Now it's (almost) all arranged and very comfortable.

for the price, these things are the best. i've searched for other types of these books and there are better plastic sleeves out there on the market, but at much much higher prices. if all those people complaining about the plastic sheets know of something better at the same price, i wish they'd share! the different sizes blick has of these itoyas are great too. i started going through the garage and found all sorts of stuff like pictures, newspaper articles, old drawings to put in them. i keep one in the kitchen too to store all my mom's old recipes!!

I am using them for photography portfolios. The page pockets are a bit flimsy, but they work.
I don't particularly like the plastic "pockets" on the inside of the cover and probably will not use them at all. This is the only portfolio that I could find online that comes in the 18"x24" size.

My only issue was that they were shipped separately and the shipping took much longer than anticipated. (FedEx)
