Art Profolio was the very first book of its kind! Since 1984, the Art Profolio has represented the ultimate in polypropylene presentation/display book innovation.
The Profolio I-Series features a durable black polypropylene cover and clear polypropylene pocket sheets with pre-inserted mounting papers. It comfortably accommodates as few as six pocket sheets (12 images) or as many as 90 pocket sheets (180 images).
Other features include an interior storage pocket and a reversible spine insert for customized labeling. Each Profolio accommodates 11" × 8½" sheets.
Portfolio Dimensions — The sizes given for presentation cases, portfolios, binders, and refill pages are the sizes of the artwork they are intended for, not the actual dimensions of the product.

Itoya, Oh Boya!
By Wise King
Comments about Itoya I-Series Art Profolios:
Needed a presentation binder for a Catalogue of musical instruments going to auction. Frustrated by low quality and poor aesthetics available at big box stores etc. was thrilled to find this on line at Blick after seeing it at a small"brick n mortar" art shop which did not stock the 90 pp version. The individual top loading 2sheets/double sided pages allowed us to easily load over 160 lot images with room to spare. The look is clean and modern. Sheets can easily ne removed for scanning, fax, copying, e mailing etc. The sheet on the spine can be removed, flipped and custom printed. The price is a real bargain when you compare to the cost of a 100 sheet box available elsewhere. My only complaint: the staffers at the NYC blick SoHo store were pretty useless and seemingly unaware of this product. I had to find this item myself elsewhere and then order it online from Blick's website. Very happy to see it was on sale.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I saw this item used for small pieces of vinyl so you could see all the pieces without having to dig & it was a great idea! Love it!
A very useful way to store related works
from Barre, MA
I use these to store groups of related artworks, safely in one place. It is great just being able to file them on a bookshelf and know they won't be damages, and bring them out for show in one convenient book-like package. If I could change anything about them, I'd wish that you could choose that the acid-free paper inserts it comes with could be a choice of either white or black. They come with black. I work a lot with ink on on semi transparent Duralar or vellum, and the dark paper shows through and makes the art a lot darker looking for viewing.
Portfolios for Kids
By Mrs. B.
from Studio City, CA
I use these in my afterschool classes. Every student gets one to keep their art in, and when it is full, I replace it with a new one. The kids are proud of their accumulated work, the parents love having a safe place to store the art, and I don't have to sort papers.

Student Portfolios, colored with Metallic Markers

Perfect Storage for Young Artists
I have over 130 students in my afterschool program and was finding I was spending way too much time sorting artwork. Now each new student gets their own portfolio, puts papers away as they finish, and has fun personalizing the cover with metallic markers. Color coding the names to grade level also saves time. Kids love seeing their portfolios fill up, and parents are grateful for the safe storage too. Definitely worth the very modest cost.

Love these portfolios!
from Albany, OR
My husband is an artist; the profit from the pictures he sells goes to outreach for children. We sponsor 9 children through Compassion International. My husband uses these portfolios for his art, but I use them for the letters we receive from our sponsored children. I can easily remove the slip sheet in each pocket if the letters are double-sided, or I can leave them in to mount photos and drawings we receive. I have a separate portfolio for each child. It is so easy when we receive a letter to just slip it into the pocket in the portfolio. Each child's letters, photos, and drawings are all together to enjoy in chronological order.
