Isabey Isacryl brushes are ideal for oil paint and heavy body acrylics. They have an incredible feel and spring for unparalleled precision and control. Finely tapered hairs interlock, keeping a perfectly sharp point and edge resisting splaying when used with solvents.

Note — Brush sizes are not standardized. The length and width of a brush of a given shape and size varies considerably by manufacturer. Since fine art brushes are handmade, expect some variation even among brushes from a given manufacturer.

I have tried a few different brushes to use with water soluble oils and this one was far and away the best. The brush is firm and flexible capable of handling oils especially well.
I thought the size was a little smaller than some of my other brushes

In all stages of a painting, I must use this sort of brush to lay down paint in a less than delicate way. These brushes are the ONLY synthetics I use. I use natural bristle, sable and these.

I like them better as they get older! You can bash these about, abuse them! Have no limitations. They last and last. Each brush lasts me up to 6 years. That's 6 years of every day hard use.

Not for detail or fine work. The best of what they are; tough synthetics! I recommend them over all others.
