Watercolor brushes are unique and costly. Cleaning such instruments is wary important for purity of pigments used on paper. I use distiled water for my watercolors. Holbein Brush Washer is perfect tool for use with distiled water, it can be hermeticaly closed and water is saved for later use.

The thing about this that works so wonderfully is that there is a grate about halfway down that enables you to rake and clean your brush rather than push your brush into the bottom of a jar or coffee can. This cleaner also enables you to save more solvent with a neatly designed cover and clamp sealing mechanism that appears to close air tight. I've had no spills as of yet and have to say that this is indeed a clever little product. I purchased the Large Metal Brush Washer and have found that size in a product like this is very useful. Overall I love this cleaner, however it is on the pricey side.
