This illuminated magnifier lamp has a 5" diameter glass lens and 22 watt circline fluorescent bulb. It provides hands-free illumination for the artist, draftsperson, or serious hobbyist.

A heavy-duty clamp attaches the lamp to a drawing board or table up to 2¼" thick. It has a full 45" workable reach.

120V. 60 Hz. UL listed.

This lamp has two magnifying lenses -- one built into the frame, one attached to the bottom/light bulb. You can take the secondary magnifyer off to just get the basic, 3X magnification. The secondary magnifyer can be handheld, positioned in various ways, too. The light is VERY easy on the eyes and greatly reduces glare when I draw in graphite. I am very pleased!

I use mine for getting very fine detail in pencil drawings. It has two lenses to give it its power. One can be easily removed if the magnification is too high.

My wife makes jewelry and wanted a magnifying lamp that wouldn't give off as much heat as her neon magnifying lamp. I hesitated buying after reading that the led lamps would be cool but didn't give off enough light. I was pleased to find that this lamp does give off enough light. Blick also carries replacement/spare base clamps for the lamp; they do wear out and Blick is the only place I've been able to find that carries them. Yay Blick! The shipping was fast and I received the items very quickly.
