Ideal for plein air painting, the Guerrilla Painter Pastel Carrier is a lightweight wood carrier that includes four foam-lined pastel trays for transporting your pastels safely and neatly.

The carrier is made of high-quality basswood laminate and features an extra-sturdy latch, a heavy-duty leather handle, and rubber bumper feet for a firm footing. A full-length piano hinge made of lightweight aluminum allows the carrier to lay flat when open, even when resting on a narrow support. Two D-rings for accommodating a shoulder strap (not included) are attached to opposite corners of the carrier, preventing spills if the latch opens during transport.

Designed to fit inside the Pastel Carrier, each pastel tray contains two sections and includes three pieces of foam so you can adapt it to any size of pastel, including crayons, handmade pastels, and large-diameter pastels. Combined, the four trays hold approximately 100 full sticks or approximately 200 half sticks.

The trays are ideal for separating pastels by foliage colors, by portrait colors, or a variety of other combinations, so you can carry just the selection of pastels you need for the type of painting you'll be doing that day.

When you're ready to pack up, place a foam-lined lid on each tray, stack the trays in the bottom of the carrier, close the latch, and you're ready to go!

The Guerrilla Painter Pastel Carrier measures 13"L × 9½"W × 2¾"D (33 cm × 24 cm × 7 cm) and weighs 3¼ lb (1.5 kg).
