Choose from single or double cup models. Each cup holds 1 oz (30 ml) and measures 1-3/5" (4.1 cm) in diameter x 3/4" (4.4 cm) deep, with an opening diameter of 1-1/2" (3.8 cm).

Aside from the rubber gasket in the caps, these are not well made. The clasp underneath is sharply cut and uncomfortable to handle. The lids came with jagged flakes of chrome around the lip that began shredding the pads of my thumb and index finger until I noticed irritation. I ground the flakes down with a metal nail file. The mouths of both cups looks slightly dented because the threading is machined too closely to the lip. This means that screwing the lids on is awkward to get started so I snap them on and tighten from there.Getting the lids off is much more precarious though. There is uneven tension in the screwing until the very end which can cause a sudden lurch and a spill. I have the double cup model so that's 3 chances of spills to release both caps. Luckily I only need one medium at a time so I can close one before trying to open the other.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Truly Art Quality, A remarkably nicely made object.

What ever liquid you choose to put into it will be securely contained. It is so beautifully made I don't want to get it dirty.

I wanted a seal-tight pallette cup for plein air painting that was easy to open. I tried about 20 times to open and close this one before putting any liquids in. I still don't know if you are supposed to push down on the lid before screwing it down. It is very hard to open and close and I have spilt OMS many times on my hands trying to use this container.
Merchant response: We're sorry to hear that you've found these palette cups difficult to open. You don't need to press down, but there is some added resistance from the sealing gasket inside the lid. If you feel these palette cups aren't going to work out for you, we'll be happy to assist you with a return or exchange. One of our Customer Care Agents will be in touch to see how we can help.

The design of this "single" palette cup makes so much sense to me comparred to the "double" cup design. I love it! And it DOES NOT leak!
