Blending stumps for any age group

Comments about Gray Paper Stumps:
Be sure to tell students you cannot put these in a pencil sharpener. Only use them with one type of pencil (for me that is graphite), as color will embed in the paper, They are easy to clean from graphite with a small piece of lighter grit sand paper.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Love these stumps
I use these with Gamsol and they work great. No fuzzing and they clean up and sharpen beautifully with sandpaper or exacto knives. Much cheaper price than others I have bought which aren't as good.
I will be ordering these blending stumps again!

I am a Zentangler, and love these paper stumps for shading. I use emery boards to clean and sharpen the stumps, and they take a lovely point that works very well for shading and blending in small areas.
I would buy again.

A good value for the product, these blend pencil and colored pencil nicely. The price is right and you get a variety of sizes.

Tips on stumps are bent or not pointed or broken off. Very disappointed.

I use tortillons often. I am a pastel artist and go through the fast. These are the best I've purchased. Firmer. Last longer. Due to the way they are made they clean wonderfully.

These are quality. Very nice
Terrific Blending Stumps
from Jenks, OK
I ordered my usual No.4 sized stumps from Dick Black as a trial since the price was so good, I took a chance and voila! the quality is excellent so I'll order more when the time is right. I also bought some No.1's, I had always made my own stumps in that small a size but no more, the quality is great and the size and durability is excellent. They are now a part of my standard inventory of drawing tools.
Like to use these with gamsol for my colored pencils
Like to use these with colored pencils and gamsol. They smooth out the pigment nicely.
