I use this all the time. I use the medium size and sharpen it with a blade knife just like a pastel pencil. This cleans the stump and can be reused with a sharp tip over and over.

I didn't think I'd like such a small blending stump but it has come in useful when I stamp an image and color it with gamsol & colored pencils. It gets into the small areas well. On the con side it's difficult to sharpen and when it gets too wet it bends easily.

They are very thin and make it hard to work with when you have arthritis, hard to clean up the tip and make it useable again, Not that impressed with it but I do have arthritis, when you first use them the tips are fine but wear down quick

I'm teaching myself to use blending stumps with colored pencils and Gamsol. I can't believe the coloring effect you get when using the pencils, the blending stumps, and Gamsol. I am very pleased with the result and the blending stumps are so easy to use and clean with sandpaper. I will only get my supplies from Dick's shop because I know I will always get quality products. I used some other blending stumps (from another shop) and I was extremely displeased with the out come.

The paper blenders are used in graphite drawing to blend. They are of good quality, and can take alot of wear. It is important that I can purchase in bulk, because I teach a large number of students. The price is very good.
