The inkjet white yield nice results. I sized and adjusted my images using a graphic software program, which enabled me to lighten before printing. I used a embossing heating tool to shrink, worked best while holding plastic down in middle with a small tweezers and moving heat tool evenly across. It curls and looks ruined at first but it does straighten out when you keep at it. I had minimal distortion but feel with practice it will get even better. I used a small spacula to press down as heated. When done and still hot I put a heavy book on top and got perfectly flat piece with perfect brilliance of color. Don't forgot to use hole punch before you heat, after the hole is very small enough to use for jump rings. I highly recommend and will be buying more.

This is a wonderful product that has fallen out of use over the last few years. It is hard to find in stores now but I knew I could rely on Blick Art.
I will use this film to make charms and earrings etc to add to my multi media pieces, I'm excited also because now I can get it in ink jet form for printing then coloring, so great.

Compared to shrinkydinks:
+ More durable, harder to snap
~ Has a textured/bumpy surface when finished, instead of a smooth one
- Thus, the surface gets dirty easier and is impossible to clean
+ Unlike shrinkydinks, no colors come out splotchy or uneven
+ Printable on both sides
- Does not get as flat in the oven
+Doesn't tend to stick to itself while baking

Tips for use:
- use a lower temperature for less distortion.
- Flatten it out immediately upon removing from the oven. I put a sheet of baking paper over them as soon as I take them out, then put a cookbook over that and leave it for a few seconds.
- Ink is not waterproof: spray it with something like Krylon Matte Finish or a glossy finish after baking
- leaving pieces in the oven for too long can make the colors more warm

I used the shrink plastic, clear, but the performance was not good. The item didnt work properly and it could not be used as intended because it shiveled up to a blob.

I found that this product took a little getting used to. I place a piece of parchment paper over my pieces during baking. I also flatten then while they are still hot, so I get nice flat pieces to work with. I like the fact that I can print on both sides - this gives my work a nice finish. I make 'Tea Time' Jewelry with this product, which I sell online. Of the shrink plastic products that I have used, I find this one the best for my needs.

I've tested many brands and this is the best. The key is you need to check your ovens temp, and test. In my oven, I need to set the temo 25* lower than the directions, but because I tested I know this and dont ruin any products.
Results probably vary printer to printer, oven to oven, but I get perfectly crisp lines and fabulous results every time. Different size pieces sometimes take different bake times, so I bake similar size items per sheet, watch closely, and have a wooden spoon covered in foil I use to "press" on the plastic if it doesnt 100% flatten, that always works as long as it doesnt cool too quickly.
If you are having issues I suggest #1. Check your oven temp. #2. Check your baking sheet for imperfections. #3. Check if its your printer, and the ink you are using.
This stuff is not cheap, but Dick Blick is the best value I've found so far without messing with coupons and buying sheets 6 at a time.

I used this product to print off images from my computer and turn them into jewelry. Although the instructions say that it cannot be used with an ink jet printer, mine worked really well. It only takes minutes (4-7) to shrink and comes out really durable!! Great for making personalized gifts!
