Incredibly flexible, Golden High Flow Acrylics have an ink-like consistency that lends itself to a wide range of techniques — painting, drawing, staining, glazing, inking, hand-lettering, spraying, and more. They move effortlessly from airbrush to dip pen, from paintbrush to refillable marker, and from fine line detail to broad strokes.
Offered in a palette of 49 colors — including four iridescents and five fluorescents — High Flow Acrylics are fully compatible with Golden Heavy Body, Fluid, and Open Acrylics as well as Golden Mediums.
This set was designed with the calligrapher, illustrator, and graphic artist in mind. It includes colors typically used in illustration such as Indigo and Carbon Black, metallic colors for lettering, plus a range of mixing colors that artists can use to mix a whole spectrum. The 10 colors are Titanium White, Carbon Black, Neutral Gray N5, Hansa Yellow Medium, Quinacridone Magenta, Iridescent Gold (Fine), Iridescent Copper (Fine), Iridescent Silver (Fine), Teal, and Indigo (Anthraquinone). They come in 1 oz (30 ml) bottles.
High Flow Acrylic Marker Set
This set includes five Golden High Flow Acrylic colors and three empty refillable markers. It's a great and economical way to try your hand with High Flow Acrylics in marker form. The markers come with 1 mm round, 15 mm round, and 6 mm chisel tip nibs, so you can lay down a variety of marks, from fine to broad. Each has its own unique quality, and there's one that's perfect for everything from signing your work to filling in large areas with color. The five 1 oz colors in the set offer a good sampling of the possibilities inherent in the High Flow line. Fluorescent Pink is a unique, expressive color not found in many ink lines. Transparent Hansa Yellow Medium is one of ten transparent colors in the High Flow line. Anthraquinone Blue (Indigo), Naphthol Red Light, and Green Gold are go-to colors for many artists and illustrate the high pigment load High Flow has to offer.

These acrylics are a lot of fun and practical. The pigment load allows me to mix just a little high flow paint with mediums, gesso (for colored grounds), heavy body paints, and water for the results I want. They do not cover a surface as well with a brush as fluid or heavy body paints, because they absorb easily into grounds (that is unless you mix the high flow acrylics with a thicker agent). But this allows for stains, tints, washes, under paintings, dyes that are not possible with fluid or heavy body. I enjoy using these for drawing (with dip pen and brush) and illustrations, washes, under-paintings, painting in watercolor style, and as graffiti style markers.
My favorite paint
This paint is so versatile, I use it on canvas, journals and material. It heavily pigmented so a little goes a long way

I had tried a few colors in the Golden high flow...it is so easy to paint with...I don't seem to have to work the paint so much to get the results I am going for. It reminds me of inks...the flow is like water...less is more.I am happy with this product.

Golden High Flow is the best. 100% mixed and liquid. I bought some at an art store previously and the pigments were dried out at the bottom - not these ones. Love the 'Violet Dark' - great color for mixing or on it's own. All of these last forever and are ready to use...

I was looking for a product with good viscosity for flow and which would give me good coverage at the same time. This product series does that in an impressive way!
Another dimension to acrylic painting
from Edmond, OK
I'm fairly new to these paints, but already I've found them very useful in adapting acrylic paint to watercolor technique on paper. They performed beautifully in this way. I recently used them poured onto gessoed multimedia board for an abstract and had a great time experimenting with them, so I just bought some more. I'm also trying them in Montana markers, which you can purchase empty and add your own acrylic inks, which is what these basically are. So far, they seem to work well in this application, too.

Can't say enough good about Goldens High Flow line. As someone who really dislikes heavy body acrylics these have been a great change. I feel like it stays open a tad longer than heavybody, plenty of pigment load I can get much better coverage I think with this than with heavy bodys
