Wow! This is without a doubt the best varnish on the market. It literally made my acrylic paintings come to life as it were. And the drying time as compared to other varnishes I've used is almost nothing. I will use Golden varnishes again and again.

I have been using this varnish to seal my acrylic artwork on vinyl and plastic like materials, I use it with an airbrush and it's absolutely amazing..!!!! If you use it as directed you will get amazing Matte results that makes any paint look wonderful...!! I love the gloss as well, absolutely amazing stuff.

I use this product to seal my acrylic paintings. I like the varnish because when thinned as directed you can accomplish a smooth even layer. So far I have not found anything I can say isn't great about it.

Well, it didn't work for what I was using it for, but perhaps nothing will. I wanted to coat a pigmented polymer clay doll. The pigments just ran and streaked all over the place. What a mess. It DOES dry perfectly on the Poly clay, which some varnishes don't. So that was good. It was not completely matte - very slight sheen to it. And, where it was a tad heavy, left a milky color. I would not buy it again, but will probably find another use for it in my art projects.

I use Golden varnish on polymer clay jewelry. Before coming across it, I had used several other products, none of which worked consistently well for me. Some yellowed, became cloudy, or peeled, and although those things happened rarely, there was more often than not a problem with brush strokes showing.

Golden has not given me any of those problems so far, and it is a delight to see the shine I get with the glossy Golden varnish, without a single brush stroke in evidence, even though I am not taking special precautions to avoid them. Golden goes on thin and stays wet long enough for me to re-brush any missed areas or places where a drip might accumulate.

One thing puzzles me about this varnish, though. I was at first put off by the claim on the label that it takes a long time to dry. Even during the rainy weather we have been having lately, it dries for me within minutes. Naturally, I expect it to take longer to be fully cured, but I have found it to be comparable in drying time with the other varnishes and glazes I have tried.

Finding the right finish has been one of my worst problems in using polymer clay, and finding Golden has been a big relief. I can't praise it enough. Its UV protection is a big bonus, too.

I don't see myself using any finishes other than Golden gloss, satin, and matte on my clay from now on. That's how great this product is!

I've painted many murals as well as acrylic paintings on canvas/panel. I've been through many frustrations with applying different types of varnishes(especially on large walls). Follow the instructions and you absolutely will not be disappointed. What's great about the product is that it is made specifically for fine art projects. I love that its consistency is so thin (your supposed to dilute it) applies like water and doesn't gum up. I also love that it can be removed easily if needed. UV protection is also something you don't find in many other varnishes. I went through years of hell trying to get other varnishes to work for me. This product has been my savior!
