Ordered More of These!
from San Jose
Comments about Global Art Global Canvas Pencil Cases:
I submitted a review for these pencil cases after my initial purchase - and am happy to say that I ordered more of these cases for both me and my daughter. I love that you can store a lot of pencils in these cases - with some brands of pencils, I can only get 2 pencils under each elastic section, while other brands - I can get 3 pencils. It is great to be able to grab and go when I want to take my colored pencils with me.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Nice cases - tight fit if filling to capacity
from San Antonio, TX
I have a couple of these cases for storing my prismas and polychromos pencils. They are excellent for keeping them in order and they keep the more delicate prismas nice and safe. Easy storage, but also easy to take them in a bag for travel. I've found some of my pencils in tins needs to be rubber banded or I end up with a bag full of loose pencils and possible broken tips! They only disadvantage for me is this takes up more room in my particular storage than a tin so I chose to use these only for my 2 sets of pencils where I had added to the collection and keep the others in their original tins.
My favorite way to store tools
I have several of these Global Arts cases now, both in leather and canvas in different sizes. They are wonderful. I love the leather especially, such a nice feel! But the canvas are top notch also. These are great for many types of tools. I use a 120 case for my gel pens. These cases can hold 3 pencils per slot and 2 pens per slot works great. Really great. So easy to use. In a 48 case I have 24 Copic Atyou Spicas. Perfect. In another 48 case, I have some blender pencils, some metallic Faber Castell Pitts, some Wink of Stella's, a couple gel pens, etc. Not full because some of those are big. Works great. I have the Zig/Kuretake Clean Color Brush Pens and 80 of those fit into a 120 case. Two per slot, with each marker opposite of the other, as in lid up, then end up, back and forth. They fit quite well that way and the case can zip. (See photo.)I can put 3 Prismas quite well in each slot and th time it loosens to be more comfortable. 3 Polychromos pencils I'm each slot is still a bit tight after about a month... Those pencils are larger around. But it still works and they are well protected and portable. I have another case on its way for some watercolor pencils.

I loved the idea of these sturdy, zippered pencil cases, so I ordered two of them. When they arrived, however, I was disappointed because the elastic that holds the pencils in place is extremely tight. Each space is intended to hold two pencils, but it's such a tight fit that it takes several seconds of tugging and poking to insert the pencils. Also, the pencils positioned in the end spaces, near the curve of the zippered corners, just barely fit without getting their tips broken off.I have two roll-up style pencil cases, also purchased from Blick, that are much more convenient to use. They are designed to hold one pencil per space, and the access is quick and easy. The roll-up cases would be perfect, except for the mediocre snap fasteners. I guess I'll keep searching for that ideal pencil case. Meanwhile, I don't recommend this zippered style.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Great and Attractive Cases
By Mary Clancy

well-made and attractive pencil cases (I have two-120 and 48). Allows for neat organization and protection for colored pencils and their tender tips. I was using a pencil roll, but the pencil points were getting broken if I tried to open the roll on less than flat surfaces. The Global canvas cases allow easy and safe transportation of pencils.
Works as Advertised

I used it to hold my gel pens and my pencils. I like that it is a convenient size that fits easily in my tote, so I can use when waiting at Dr.'s office or bring out when lunching alone. Seems to be durably made and zippers keep everything from falling out.
These cases are great!
from Mechanicsburg, PA
I researched a number of pencil cases before choosing the Global Cases. I am very happy with my choice. I have two of the cases that hold 120 and three of the cases that hold 48. I use them to hold the full collections of Prismacolor Premier and Verithin Colored Pencils as well as an assortment of Derwent, Sargent Art, Crayola, CraZart, and Rose Art pencils. In the 120, three pencils fit into each elastic slot and in the 48, four pencils fit into each slot. The quality is great, the profile on the 120 is very thin and the pencils are secure and well padded. I would recommend this product.
Why hide the pencils
from Lansing, Michigan
I loved the smaller cases so much that I ordered the big ones that was I don't have to hide my pencils in a tin can, now they are out where I can see them. Thank you
3 Pencils fit, but just barely!
By Bev and Rhiannon
I purchased the rose 120 pencil case. The quality is fantastic! It would have been great if there had been individual holders instead of having to fit 3 pencils per slot. That is my reason for 4 stars and not 5. It is a bit cumbersome but not a big deal considering the price.
Great for PrismaColor Pencils
By Emma the artist
from Wallingford, CT
I got the set of 150 PrismaColor Pencils for Christmas and when I brought the pencils to school in their big original box it was hard to carry and took up way too much space. With this pencil case I can bring them anywhere and I know they are protected and organized. I can still lay all of them out in the little stretchy punches so I can see every color. The pencils are secure and cushioned and most importantly displayed in a very pretty way. Great product and I'm so happy I found it!
