It does what I bought it for.
from Hattiesburg, MS
I saw on an art forum that this paper could be used to separate acrylic paintings to keep them from sticking together. It works fine for that purpose.
from Westchester, NY
I use it to protect pastel paintings, but I did not need a lot. Thus I appreciated the ability to purchase just a few sheets rather than a huge roll!
Wow! Let's keep it rolling!

I loved the product, however, there is room for improvement on the end of the roll. Once I got to the end of the roll the paper was creased/scored therefore I had some unnecessary waste. It was fine and I was able to get out of the product what I needed and will definitely order again. Thanks.

Perfect for Print storage

I use Glassine to separate all of my Relief Prints. It keeps them all perfectly clean and flat. Dick Blick's packaging was a large flat box which was great because the paper lays perfectly flat in my file drawers. Much better than a roll of glassine.
More affordable than a roll

I did not want to spend all the money on a roll of glassine paper and I certainly did not have the space to store it. This is an excellent alternative for someone who only uses a few sheets at a time.
Perfect for protecting my pastel paintings for shipping
This product was exactly what I wanted

I use it to protect my pastel paintings before they are framed. It keeps them safe, even when stacked.

Great quality and value
By Happy Painter
from Dothan, AL
I have purchased this glassine paper roll twice. Several years ago I decided to purchase the roll instead of sheets because it was a much better deal. When I received the roll I was extremely pleased with my decision when I saw how much paper was on the roll. I felt like I got a lifetime supply of paper for a little more than the cost of some sheets. I recently purchased another roll because my first roll was lost in a move. It seemed to cost more this time, but I still knew it would be worth it. I have used this glassine paper to protect my pastel and egg tempera paintings before they are framed and/or for storage. I also wrap unframed paintings in this paper when I ship them to a patron. Cheaper paper could suit the purpose, but I feel this glassine paper has two major advantages. First, it is archival so I don't have to worry about it damaging my paintings. Secondly, I love that I can see through the paper enough to be able to tell which painting is which without having to completely unwrap the painting. The high quality of the paper adds to the professional presentation of my paintings when they are viewed or shipped unframed.
What I was looking for
from New York
The glassine paper is exactly what I was looking for, protected the artwork in transit underneath the bubble wrap. Will be using this product again.
