I was first shown this product by the store owner two years ago when I was looking at their Prismacolor Pencils and Art Stix and given a free sample. Lets just say that was the best free sample ever, and since then I've become a big fan! Since Prismacolor Pencils and Art Stix are of the same consistency, I use Gamblin Gamsol on both, with such amazing results. I also love the fact that it is odorless, due to ultra sensitive sinuses having my art supplies being odorless is a big deal to me otherwise I wouldn't be able to pursue my hobby. It's gonna be time to get some more here in a couple of days, and I would definitely recommend this product to any of my friends who are just starting out with Prismacolor, or otherwise. I don't have fancy paintbrushes like some of the people on here, but regular old Q-tips work just as well for me! Thanks for making such a great product for the aid of artists!

This is the first odorless mineral spirits that I have tried. A vast improvement over the smelly ones. I use this in a water brush. There is no smell. I think that I can still taste it a bit. I am extremely allergic to paint thinner. With the water brush, it never gets on my hands except to fill it.
I have no experience with other brands or prices.

This is the best thinner I have ever used. No order, no headache, so high throwing off my sences! Great product and great price (have you ever priced this stuff in the day to day art stores????)

I used it with blending stumps on colored stamped images and the effect is great. It smoothes out the colors and shades perfectly.

I use it both to thin my Winsor Newton (Winton)) so-called "student grade" oil colors and clean my brushes. I also mix it into the WN artist grade colors I use to highlight certain parts of a large painting. The paint dries nice and bright and I haven't noticed any clouding or dullness to the paint as a result of using it. It evaporates quickly to allow the paint to dry as it should.

only need small amounts and DB sells 2 oz bottles...yeah! This product does take about 20 min to dry when used as medium. Oh well...dries clear, no staining.

I use this products on artwork that is created using my Prisma pencils. It always gives it a nice, soft, even finish. Don't know what I'd do without it.

use it for all my clean up and oil paint thining and I really cannot smell it. I feel its safer for me and my environment.
