Gamblin Artist's Oil Colors are crafted by hand with the well-being of artists, their work, and the environment in mind. True to historic working properties, yet safer and more permanent, they combine the best traditions of the past with the latest technical innovations, giving you the freedom to create without compromise.
Made with the finest grades of pigment available (yes, there are differences), Gamblin Artist's Oils have luscious working properties, and each color possesses unique characteristics in terms of texture, undertone, and tinting strength. The range of colors includes both historically accurate paints and modern, synthetically derived hues. For everything from traditional realism to contemporary abstraction, you'll find your ideal colors within the Gamblin line.
All Gamblin Artist's Oil Paints are completely non-toxic when used as recommended. Most are made with alkali-refined linseed oil as a binder, which creates a strong, flexible paint film and yellows significantly less than cold press linseed oil, the traditional binder in oil paints. Select colors use safflower oil as a binder. Not only are these vegetable oils completely non-toxic, they are commonly used in health and beauty products, so you can trust in their safety.
This set gives painters a thoughtfully constructed palette of luscious oil colors cradled in a primed, ready-to-use, 12" × 6½" painting panel handcrafted in North America from sustainably forested birch. Colors include Cadmium Yellow Light, Yellow Ochre, Burnt Umber, Cadmium Red Light, Alizarin Crimson, Ultramarine Blue, Viridian, Ivory Black, and Titanium White in 37 ml (1.25 oz) tubes.

Artists can paint solvent—free with all Gamblin Artist’s Colors by mixing them with Gamblin’s Solvent-Free Gel Medium or with moderate amounts of Gamblin Refined Linseed Oil. For cleaning your brushes consider using Gamblin’s Gamsol Solvent, the safest artist’s solvent available. Or, simply wipe away excess paint from the bristles, work in a bit of Gamblin Refined Linseed Oil, then follow with water and soap or a brush cleaner.

Comments about Gamblin Artist's Oil Colors:
They may be a little higher in price than other oil paint but the quality is worth it. Good coverage and creamy consistency makes Gamblin my number one choice in oils.

Gamblin Oil Paint
Gamblin and Utrecht are the paints I use. Gamblin is sold in my school so I usually use those. But both are very good.
My favorite paint company but...
from Greensboro nc
I use the 16 and 31 oz can. I have had the same problem five times. The paint is excellent but the inside edges of the can's paint is dried and unusable creating issues with the rest of the paint. This issue could be resolved by using caulking tubes instead of cans. Another brand does this but their execution is done poorly. I still purchase this product however you may need to contact Gamblin. They will be very helpful.

I have tried so many brands & have never been disappointed with Gamblin products. The pigment load is great & the colors true. I ordered some of their various whotes, thinking I wouldn't see much difference - wow! I'm impressed once again. I will probably always use Gamblin.

EXCELLENT PAINTS, I USE THEM TO PAINT AUSTRALIAN LANDSCAPES
from Sydney NSW Australia
I am using more and more Gamblin oil colors, very impressed with flake white replacement and the richness of brown pink, it is true brown pink, most brands are just brown, but this one has a pinky brown tone, perfect for australian landscapes.
