This is 100 percent Jute and says so on the package where is the linen, Jute is cheap linen is not. Not as bad as burlap though.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Merchant response: You are correct and we’ve changed our Product Title.

The manufacturer lists the Alexander Jute under their category of Acrylic Primed Linen, due to it’s unique linen-like color and the fact that it’s acrylic primed, and we accidentally picked up Linen in our copy.
Neither Tara nor Blick meant to imply that this material was actually made of linen. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused
