MCS Format Frame are simple plastic frames perfect for showing off certificates, diplomas, awards, photos, and artwork. Mount them vertically or horizontally, alone or in groups, using the keyhole hangers on the back of the frames — or incorporate them into tabletop displays.
Available in a range of popular sizes, the MCS Format Frame has a thin 1/8" profile, and measures 5/8" deep. To use, simply pop out the smooth trimmed glass, insert the material to be framed, and pop the glass back into the frame.
Every frame includes a backing board and a glass face. These frames do not include (nor will they accommodate) a mat. Face paper may vary based on inventory.
Frame Dimensions – Frames are measured by the size of the artwork they hold. Measure your artwork, mat, or panel, and order that size frame. The frame will overlap your artwork by about 1/4" on each side so it fits securely. If the frame includes a precut mat, the mat opening is indicated as Artwork Size.
Depth (Profile / Thickness) – How thick the frame moulding is from front to back, or how far it sticks out from the wall.
Rabbet Depth – The space inside the frame that holds your artwork and any materials used with it, like glass, matting, or backing. Make sure the total thickness of your materials fit within the rabbet depth.
