Crafted in small batches at slow speeds in a European paper mill, Fluid watercolor papers possess the strength and working integrity of more expensive mouldmade papers.
Fluid 100 is a 100% cotton, natural white paper that is internally and externally gelatin-sized to achieve an archival standard of permanence. Choose from two weights — 140 lb (300 gsm) or 300 lb (640 gsm) — and two surfaces (hot press or cold press).

I'm in love!
from Glenn Dale, MD
Comments about Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper Blocks:
I use this paper to create small watercolor paintings. I absolutely love the weight and feel of the paper. And the fact that it can hold a lot of paint without any buckling just makes the painting process so much more pleasurable.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The paper is great, but the glue is terrible
Great product, if it had a different glue. It is very difficult to remove the paper from the pad even with the correct tool. It is then really hard to remove the glue from the paper.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper
from Hartford, AL
I am continuing my watercolor experience. This is the first time I have used 300# paper and I have really enjoyed it. I like the thickness and the ability to lift things off the page without a lot of damage. The cost was a good value.
I would buy this again

300 lb watercolor paper block
from Bedford, Indiana
This is the first time I have used this weight of watercolor paper and I love it! It doesn't buckle when really wet and it takes a lot of punishment from lifting and reworking. I may order another smaller size for preliminary planning of larger paintings.

"Love this watercolor paper"
By Kim L
from Granada Hills, Ca
I had tried this 300lb paper in a smaller size and loved how it can take any watercolor and make it look wonderful, so I knew I wanted a larger size. I wasn't disappointed and would purchase this again.

Glued only on 2 sides -- Larger sizes BUCKLE
By Napa Artist
from Napa, CA
I purchased several sizes and, unfortunately, the blocks larger than 12x16 buckled and rippled (and stayed that way when dried) as the blocks were only glued on 2 sides. I ended up having to stick masking tape on the unglued sides to make the blocks stay flat and workable but I finally got tired of doing that for every sheet I had to work on so I ended up going back to using Arches blocks. If you use a lot of washes on your work, I would not recommend using these at all.

Great watercolor paper!
from Martinez, CA
I have been using Arches Hot Press watercolor paper for years. Dont get me wrong its still a great paper. But then Blick had a deal on this paper which I couldnt pass up.I purchased the 8 x 8 hot press block. And now I am in love with it! I use Winsor & Newton watercolors and gouache and some Daniel Smith gouache also. The paint flows so nicely on this paper. I dont have one bad word to say about it! Except I wish I would have bought more when it was on sale!Oh and its made in the USA! Even better.

Easy block is quick and easy
from Tacoma, WA
Fluid blocks are a stack of watercolor papers bound on two sides. Blocks have the advantage of not needing to be taped to a board and each watercolor is easy to remove when finished. The smaller sizes are great for small, quick or practice projects since they are ready to use and you can quickly separate the top paper from the block. I use the 4 x 6 inch size mostly for watercolors that I attach to greeting cards for special friends and I buy the 4 x 6 size quite frequently.
