Comments about Magnum Flexible Magnetic Strip:
i got this to secure small watercolor pans in a metal palette box, it's easy to cut with an exacto, (small cut and then fold it, it snaps off) the magnet is just strong enough to hold the pans in the boxes securely, but are still easy to remove to change out paint
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great for what we needed
from Chattanooga, TN
We were attaching a strip of magnet to the back of painted canvas panels to pop onto school lockers. This was perfect and met our needs. Would they hold lots of papers underneath, probably not. But that was not our purpose. The adhesive to attach was also strong. So they worked well for us!
The magnetic did not hold the items it was intended to hold. The items kept falling off the magnet.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Merchant response: We're sorry that this product isn't working out for your intended use. The flexible magnetic strips are best suited to crafts and lightweight signage rather than functional applications. Our Product Information team is more than happy to discuss other options with you that might give better results. Just give them a call at 1-800-933-2542, weekdays 8am to 5:30pm CST, or email email@example.com. They're happy to help you find what you need!
Worthless. Except for paper clips .

Very disappointed. Paper clips and tiny nail scissors, great. Doesn't hold anything remotely heavy, like drill bits or nail clippers.Wasted my money on 10 ft of the magnetic adhesive tape.
Merchant response: We're sorry to hear that this magnetic tape isn't working as you expected. The strength of rubber (flexible) magnetic strips like this one is relatively low — 10.8 lbs. per lineal foot of 1” wide at zero air gap (bare metal). Magnetic toolbars are usually made from much stronger ceramic or neodymium magnets. Please know that your satisfaction is important to us, and we'll be happy to work with you on a return or exchange. One of our Customer Care Representatives will be in touch to assist you.

I wanted a magnetic knife holder, but didn't want to drill into my wood cabinets to install one. I saw this magnetic strip advertised in my Good Housekeeping magazine and thought it would be just perfect for my knife holder. The strips are very easy to cut and the adhesive on the back is good and strong, as is the magnetic strength of the actual strips! I got exactly what I needed, at a really good price, and couldn't be happier! Thanks!
