Comments about Fiskars Circle Cutter:
I was all excited to come home and finish the baby shower crafts I had going, after my circle cutter from 20 years ago let it final breathe go last night. This thing was horrible. It left my paper with half circles. It never cut the full thing at the size that I wanted it at. Those that made somewhat of a circle line, I had to use the exacto knife to cut it out. ITS JUNK! Im returning it tomorrow. Dont waste your money.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Merchant response: We apologize for any frustration you encountered in using this cutter. We understand that it can be challenging and take practice to obtain perfect results. Try standing while cutting to make sure you apply even pressure to the control knob with your non-dominant hand. Then apply light pressure above the blade as you use your dominant hand to spin the body and blade. As always, if you feel this product simply won't work for you, just give us a call at 1-800-723-2787 and we'll be happy to assist you further.

Just doesn't cut it.

I am disappointed in the performance of this cutter. It cuts a clean circle, but not "on the line" even when lined up. LOVE most Fiskars products, but this one just doesn't work the way I had hoped.
Merchant response: We're sorry to hear that this cutter isn't meeting your needs. One of our Customer Care Agents will be in touch to further assist you with this.
Makes Pinhole despite claiming that it won't.

I'm using the product to cut circles in Strathmore Artagain drawing paper (black) in order to create drawings for a series. The contraption is rather easy to figure out, which is good since, as other reviewers have mentioned, it comes with no directions. Regardless, it is easy to figure out how to use it, and it cuts a clean circle. My only qualm is that I bought it because it said, "A gripper foot allows for circle cutting without pinholes." This does not ring true. Almost all of the circles I have cut have small holes in the center, where the "gripper foot" sits, or when it doesn't there is still a very blatant indent; something that doesn't really work when it comes to creating drawing surfaces. I found that this problem can be fixed by putting some masking tape in the center of the circle, or even directly on the foot, however I do not like buying products that I then have to fix in order to make use of them.

Amazing !!! Does what it's supposed to do

I don't understand how this product didn't get good reviews. Just spend 2 precious min of your time and research online how to use the circle cutter and then it works like a charm. There are even you tube videos on how to use it. Best circle cutter I've had.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great Idea, Doesn't Work
Sorry, but this one's a dud. No instructions included, tried YouTube, still not working. Called customer service and they were very nice, but still no solutions. It's a bad design.
This is a piece of junk!

Difficult to use....had to go on line to get instructions....and the online site was not user friendly for locating product instructions... I bought this product to cut circles for paperweights. It cut about two before the blade went "dull"....

Not only did the Circle Cutter arrive from DickBlick.com a day early, I was using it in less than 10 minutes of receiving it. Download the pdf instructions at fiskars.com (enter "circle cutter" in the "search" prompt), follow them and you can't go wrong - just takes a little practice. Makes perfectly sized circles, even in .015" styrene.

Good product, bad to work with

The product does what it's supposed to; it cuts circles great and in whatever size you want. The problem is that there is no way to judge exactly where you're putting the cutter on top of your image, so you could cut a circle completely outside of what you mean to cut. I wanted to use this product for button making, but there's no way I could cut out hundreds of small circular images with this thing accurately. You just have to make your best judgement and it's usually wrong. I wish this worked, it's a great value, but it's impossible to cut out an image accurately with it.
