Using 1 Shot paint allows my signs to last longer in some very challenging situations. It's also possible to mix almost any color from the premixed colors.

Always provides the painter with an opaque, one brush stroke application. With the added drying inhibitor, I have great results even on a hot day.

For more than 40 years I have been using 1-Shot Lettering Enamels, for both professional and personal projects, vehicle lettering and murals, signage, etc. I have found none better for their versatility, ease of use and staying power once a project is completed. You'll never find me switching.

The brilliant blue was used to accent the two ribbon ends of my yacht's 25 year old hand-carved mahogany quarterboard, painted over existing brownish paint, after proper sanding. It went on much thinner than most paints I use around the boat. Did not cover well. Chips and scratches easily. Went on smooth, but thin. Felt that if I am paying the most for this product, plus it is specifically designed for my needs, Sign Painting, I would get a much better performance. With this lack of confidence in the product I can only imagine the salt and sun environment taking its toll quickly. I plan to strip and use something like Pettit or Interlux brands.

This paint covers very nicely. I was pleased with the results and would recommend it. I used it for sign making (lettering and logo). Black goes on in one coat. Immitation gold went on in one coat plus a little touching up on the thin spots. Someone with more experience in lettering might have been able to do it in one coat.
