These professional enamel paints are the sign painter's best value for lettering work. Famous 1-Shot's vibrant, true colors spread evenly, and are unexcelled for covering. They leave no brush marks and are extremely durable. High-gloss white does not chalk or wash. Famous 1-Shot Enamels are for interior or exterior use on metal, glass, wood or masonite. Thin them with 1-Shot Reducers, with turpentine, or with other thinners. Varnishing is unnecessary due to the high gloss. Paint dries in 8 hours and cures in 6–8 weeks. A free printed color chart is available on request. Neither the printed color chart nor the on-line colorchart can show the reflective qualities of metallic and pearlescent colors effectively. Use 1-Shot Reducers to thin, reduce viscosity, and adjust flow and leveling without altering the quality of lettering enamels. Use 1-Shot Tinting for shading and tinting 1-Shot Lettering Enamels without affecting the properties of the base coatings. Note — 1-Shot Lettering Enamels no longer contain lead. Some colors do contain toxic pigments. Although they are still not for use by children, the new 1-Shot formulas do not use lead as an opacifier.
