Exceptionally strong and versatile, Fabriano Tiepolo Printmaking Paper withstands the wear and tear of rigorous techniques.
Featuring a traditional Italian soft white color, this 100% cotton, mouldmade, acid-free paper has four deckle edges and a beautiful watermark. Its particularly smooth surface excels when used for printmaking techniques, silkscreening, embossing, and even digital printing.
Fabriano Tiepolo Printmaking Paper is also great for drawing, for loose watercolor washes, and for use with other fine art media.
Handling Charge — When ordering sheets of paper or board larger than 18” x 24” in quantities of less than 10, a $3.00 per order handling fee applies. Paper or boards may be assorted to reach the quantity of 10.

Great for pastel
from New England
Comments about Fabriano Tiepolo Printmaking Paper:
This is lovely paper for a pastel technique that is expressive and leaves plenty of ground showing. Not for heavy buildup of layers. It has a soft quality which enhances the pigment, and a light tooth that does not inflict a pattern on the drawing yet shows off the mark making nicely. I've tried many papers for pastel, and this is my favorite.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I cut it up for Zentangles
from Denver, CO
This is the paper used for the official Zentangle (trademark, all that good stuff) tiles -- you can buy it by the sheet and cut if yourself into 3 1/2" squares if you want the "official" experience without the premium price tag. You can get a corner rounder (usually used for scrapbooking) if you want to finish them off.(Zentangles are small, pen and ink drawings that follow a specific meditative process.)Is cutting them up yourself a PITA? Yes. This paper is thick and take care and a really good, sharp blade to get through. But if you want a lot of tiles or want a different size from the official ones, this is a good option.
Excellent for fine artwork like Zentangling
I get the large sheets, and measure carefully to break it down into square (or rectangular) pieces for Zentangling-- an art form I've come to love so much, I'm putting them on this paper in 3.5" squares, mounted on 4" square black, stiff matting board 1/8" thick... not sure what it's called, but I also attach hooks for hanging them on the back, just below the visible area.Great gifts as all are personalized with their first initial. Will change rating to 5 stars if/when I find a better paper, but happy in the meantime.

Great "escape" into creativity!

Reviews are all spot on for good ratings.
As "Annie" and "Flash" reviewed, I also love "tangling" and I believe this paper is the same one sold on a website by the artists who helped put Zentangle on the artist's map. They are previously cut, so all edges are the same lovely rough texture. I will have to slightly trim all the edges on orig size (22x30) to make even sided squares, but the price is still Fantastic on Blick.I am an amateur, hobby only, but always prefer the finest tools--in this case, micropens that are far less cost as the same brand sold in art supply stores. I buy them in sets or individually: (i.e(01,02,03,.005,05, brush...). I buy from Blick all of my supplies and am making many originals ("What??" Give them away?!") to give as holiday gifts this year. Blick did not advise me on endorsing them as a seller. My ONLY complaint, and I will notify them, is that none of their deliveries has an outside, plastic protection from rain/snow outside. I hope they will secure them in the future.Beautiful, soft white-ivory (not yellow) for detail work. Love the papery cotton used.

Paper was perfect! Packing secure!

Paper is wonderful. However most notable was Blick's care in the packing and shipping. I asked for care, and they were wonderful. Well packed, shipped with NO issues. Paper was perfectly flat no dents, bends. Thank you.

Fast shipping and excellent packaging
from Duluth, MN
The quality of the paper is the same as that used for zentangle squares. I save almost $50.00 by cutting the squares myself. The paper has a slightly bumpy surface that readily absorbs the ink with no bleeding or blurring. All lines remain crisp and clear even when closely spaced. I was especially happy that the paper was shipped flat rather than rolled.
